I will try to cast a Protection from Evil 10', but what would be the best way to do it, sir C? If I cast it on the statue, will it contain whatever might be in it?

Certainly not, as this isn't a confining spell but one to protect non-evil creatures from evil.

In any case, back to the game, I think the best we can do is to cast protective spells on ourselves and see if we can wake the statue up. Since it probably has a high magic resistance, judging from the failed disintegrate, maybe we can just approach it and see if it is hackable.

On the other hand, we can check if the smaller statues haven't recovered their magic back and try to disintegrate them with the horn or a spell. I think I would feel safer if they were not there.

It seems that only one of the statues came alive. Should Sol and Kherim just go in and try to engage it in melee? For Gaderon, what spell do you think would work best against a magical stone monster?
