Round 4Party initiative: 4 Gholle initiative: 3 The Gods smile upon you because no one falls for the paralyzing gaze of the gholle. You stand your ground and continue attacking the fearsome undead.
While
Eilkhan once more misses the creature before her,
Kherim to her left is more successful. Two quick slashes with his scimitar cut down one of the gholle that attack him.
Both of
Sol's sword attacks hit the gholle, but neither of them falls to the ground, although the one to his right seems to remain on his feet only by force of sheer will after Tizona bit him deep in the chest.
Moving a bit closer to Eilkhan,
Gaderon casts
burning hands, and a fan of searing hot flames springs forth from his fingertips, heavily burning the gholle, but not killing him.
As he raises the crown & longbow symbol of his goddess,
Ahi realizes that the gholle are stronger than he would have guessed. He feels the holy power flowing through his hands into the golden symbol, but only the gholle directly before him seems impressed and retreats, albeit slowly and grudgingly. Perhaps it's the aura of the evil one that surrounds everyone and everything in here, who can say? Fact is that the other gholle ignore him and continue their attacks with ferocity.
Gholle #2 attacking Eilkhan: Once more, only one claw sweep hits the thief, for damage 7.
Damage: Gholle #5 attacking Kherim: Kherim only gets bitten this time, for 10 points of damage.
Chance for a critical hit: Damage: Gholle #8 and #10 attacking Sol: Even though he's barely able to stand on his feet, the gholle to his right grabs Sol and manages to get a hold on him and therefore two additional raking attacks because of it, one of which hits. The gholle to his left scores two hits on the warrior, with claw and bite. The total damage is 37 points.
