Ahi cries to everyone to close their eyes, then waits as they complete their actions. Kherim casts Bless on the group, and finally Ahi casts a Sunburst. It should have enough range to get all Gholles (and everyone in the party)
Damage: 8d6 = 24hp

Round 1:

Gholle initiative: 3
Party initiative: 5

Uttering a command word, Gaderonreleases a tiny ball of fire from the tip of his staff. Exploding in the midst of the foremost group of gholle, the fireball blooms into a flaming inferno that engulfs the first half of the advancing undead.

"CLOSE YOUR EYES!" Ahi's voice rings out over the howls of pain from the burning gholles While Kherim starts casting a bless spell, the cleric waits for another second before the light of the sun radiates outward from his person after his invocation, falling upon the advancing horde and burning them even more.

Since you all have closed your eyes to not be blinded, you can only hear what happens now. The howls of anguish and pain grow in intensity as the gholle are bathed in pure sunlight, but it sounds as if they continue to advance upon you, albeit much slower...

OOC: I won't post a map update because you'll only be able to open your eyes at the beginning of this following round of combat. So please state your intentions based on the above description.

Kherim opens his eyes, holds his scimitar, and assesses the situation, ready to defend the group from the first Gholle that might be nearing them.

Ahi opens his eyes, and moves back, staff in hand ready to fight any approaching undead.

Sol will open his eyes and remain beside Kherim prepared to fight.

Gaderon will open his eyes and cast another fire ball at the gholles with his staff of power.

Round 2:

Opening your eyes you see that the gholle are almost upon you. Gaderon releases another fireball from his staff, aimed at the back ranks of the advancing undead so not to damage you as well. But still, not a single gholle falls victim to the fire although some of them look badly damaged by now.

Fireball damage:

OOC: Please provide me with attack rolls for Kherim, Sol, Ahi, and Eilkhan.

Sol will engage gholle #6 first, with three attacks to keep it off of Ahi (it figures that the best damage roll would come on the worst roll to hit...):

22/13, 21/11, 10/17

If gholle #6 goes down he will try to do the last attack(s) on gholle #7.

Kherim attacks with his scimitar, focussing first on #3, then #1 and #2 to ease Eilkhan, if eventually they go down.

Ahi attacks with the Uas rod at #4, hoping to bring down the enemy flank.
Kherim 3 attacks at 1d20 + 7 (including +1 from Bless):
25, 25, 27
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4300360/

Damage: 1d8+7
13, 13, 8
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4300361/

Ahi: 1d20 + 4 (including +1 from Bless)
20
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4300363/

Damage: 1d8 + 3
11
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4300371/

Probably the best rolls I ever had on invisiblecastle :)

Round 3

Party's initiative: 5
Gholle's initiative: 2

Taking advantage of the desolate condition of the undead, you start attacking them immediately.

Sol attacks with Tizona, his sword taking terrible toll as he cuts down the two gholle in front of him.

With a satisfying sound, the smashed skull of Ahi's foe cracks open as the Uas rod strikes him. The gholle goes down without a sound.

Kherim finishes off the gholle directly in front of him and inflicts another painful wound on the one to his right.
Chance for critical hit:

Eilkhan stabs at the gholle with her short sword, but misses.

Badly damaged as they are, the remaining five gholle nevertheless attack you ferociously. Their stench is overwhelming, but luckily you're able to fend it off. While they attack you, the gleaming gaze of their red eyes meet yours and you feel your body getting numb.

OOC: Everyone, please make a ST vs. paralyzation. Eilkhan and Sol can profit from the proximity of the paladin and are allowed a +2 bonus due to the protection from evil aura.

Gholle #9 attacking Ahi:
The gholle succeeds in grabbing Ahi, getting a hold and two more raking attacks with its feet, for a damage total of 24 points
Raking attacks:
Damage:

Gholles #8 and #10 attacking Sol:
Due to Kherim's protection from evil aura, one of the claw attacks gets deflected by the paladin's magic, which means that only three attacks hit Sol. for a total of 21 points of damage.
Damage:

Gholles #1 and #5 attacking Kherim:
The paladin defends himself well, and doesn't allow any of his foes to get a hold on him, so only two claw attacks and the bites of the undead hit him for a total of 26 points of damage.
Damage:

Gholle #2 attacking Eilkhan:
Only one claw attack hits the thief for 9 points of damage.
Damage:

ST for Kherim: 1d20 = 19 (and add +2 of bonus). 19 is bad, right? :(
ST for Ahi: 1d20 = 6 (and add +4 of bonus)

If Kherim can still fight, he attacks again:

2@1d20 + 7 = 19, 15
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4301715/

Damage: 2@1d8+7 = 11,14
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4301720/

Ahi tries to turn the undead.
OOC: what do I have to roll, sir C?

ST for Sol: 13
ST for Gaderon: 15

Assuming that they were successful.

Sol will attack gholle #10 and then gholle #8 if he can: 10/12, 28/16

Gaderon will cast Burning Hands on gholle #2: damage 12
