Ahi clambers up as Kherim stands besides Sol and behind Gaderon's spell. As Kherim sees another ineffectual and totally optimist arrow fly from Ivid's blow he shouts at the man.

"Aim at the lights instead, see if they do anything. You are just wasting them on these golems!"

Ahi looks around to measure the degree to which his companions are hurt. He replies to Gaderon

"I think we would best retire through the crawl space and regroup somewhere else. Never retreat into the unknown especially when you are weak."

Gaderon calls out "Eilkhan, can you turn invisible, get past these things and see what is in the chamber beyond? Once you have checked it out, I will use a spell to drive the skeletons down the stairs so we can get past them."

Once Eilkhan has reported back, he will cast bigby's forceful hand and use it to drive the skeletons back. He will push them down the stairs and hopefully back away from opening into the room, then levetate over them and push them down to the floor while the others go past him into the chamber.

Moving past the magical hand that holds the skeletons back, Eilkhan tries to sneak past them, but they're obviously seeing her in spite of her invisibility! As soon as she gets in reach of one of the spears, its bearer swings around and stabs at her, while several more glowing eyes fix on her. The spear only misses Eilkhan barely, but a small arc of electricity leaps over to her, causing a mere 1 point of damage. With a leap backwards behind the protection of the interposing hand, Eilkhan retreats to safety.

OOC: FYI, the interposing hand continues to be in existence for another 10 rounds.

There's only one of the sickly glowing globes that you're able to shoot at, and the effect as the archer's and Eilkhan's arrows hit it is most spectacular: The orange light bubble turns into a laughing white skull which detonates seconds later with a formidable explosion. Unfortunately, the detonation doesn't harm the electric skeletons the slightest bit....

OOC: 9 rounds to go for the interposing hand.

Kherim suddenly remembers something. Hoping that the idea suddenly appearing in his head is a flash of inspiration provided by Horus, he takes the distraction offered by Eilkhan to fetch the Horn of Valhalla from his bag. Pointing it at the skeletons as Eilkhan returns back to safety, he winds it while mentally praying that it should work.

A deep and reverberant sound fills the stairway and the large hall beyond as Kherim sounds the large iron horn, echoing from the walls and evoking pictures of another place and time in all those who hear it: Pictures of mighty, bearded warriors, clad in iron, swinging their deadly weapons in bloody battles versus men and monsters alike. Except for the copper skeletons that mindlessly press on against the large magical hand which still keeps them at bay, you all halt for a moment and see a grey mist forming in midair, from which spring forth four warriors, wearing dull chainmail armor and carrying a battle axe in both hands. As they turn around to face Kherim, you see the grey-skinned faces of men long dead, framed by wild hair and long beards. Glowing eyes of an ice-blue light shimmer from beneath their iron helmets. They nod in unison as the paladin points at the skeletons, and then turn around and charge at the electricity-filled constructs. The battle prowess of the dead warriors is admirable. Hacking away at the skeletons with their axes, they fight bravely. And senselessly, because their iron axe not even leave a scar on the metallic surface of their opponents. One by one, they are impaled by the copper skeletons' spears and fried by their electricity. After only a few rounds, each dead warrior dissipates to grey mist an returns to wherever he came from.

OOC: The battle takes four rounds all in all, leaving five rounds for the magic hand. Due to the fact that you all realize the hopelessness of the berserkers' battle after two rounds, that leaves you 7 rounds to decide upon another course of action before the hand disappears.

While Gaderon tries his spell, Ahi and Kherim heal someone. Kherim heals himself with his best spell available, Ahi looks to see who is the badliest injured person and heals her.

OOC: are there blue balls floating around, or just orange balls? If there are blue, may I suggest someone fires at a blue and hope that it triggers an ice storm?
