Realizing that we are facing golems rather than undead, Sol will sheath his sword and pull out the war hammer and clobber the one in front of him.

Gaderon will cast Haste on the party. He will then use his boots of levetation to get above the front rank in preparation for next round.

Copper skeleton's initiative: 1

The lightning bolts hit, and once more Sol is protected by his ring which reflects the bolt upon the skeleton. Ahi and Kherim, both missing such a nifty item, take damage from the electricity: 1 for Ahi, and 6 for Kherim.

With his skilled and powerful two-handed attack, Kherim circumvents the mighty defense of the skeleton and cuts through several metallic ribs, scoring some damage this way (OOC: No extra damage for that in 1E, sorry. If Kherim wouldn't have dropped his shield in this case, then we just assume that he never dropped it, okay?). Unfortunately, the contact with the skeleton sends a strong jolt of electric energy through the scimitar into the paladin's body, for another 5 points of damage.

Ahi and Sol to his right are not as successful. It turns out that the copper skeletons are not only skilled fighters but also have a nigh impenetrable defense with their long spears and tower shields, not to mention their metallic bodies. Neither Ahi's attempt to score a hit with the Uas Rod, nor Sol with his magical hammer are able to break through. They still come in contact with the shields of the skeletons though and get damaged by the flow of electricity that immediately sets in. Ahi loses 6 hp, and Sol 2.

Using his levitation boots, Gaderon moves into position for casting a spell, while Ivid continues to pepper the skeletons with his arrows, still to no avail.

Being exposed as he is now, Gaderon gets targeted by four copper skeletons in the back row, who fire bolts of lightning at him (OOC: Please make four ST's vs magic for Gaderon. Don't forget his +2 DEX bonus, the +1 prayer bonus, and the total bonus of +5 from his staff and ring.

The other skeletons attack Ahi, Sol, and Kherim once again, but this time all three are able to dodge the attack.

OOC: No new map because nothing has changed except for Gaderon levitating. Please state your actions for round 4.

Gaderon will cast Disintegrate at the skeletons right in front of him (over Ahi's head). If the beam is wide enough, he will try to destroy eight of them, otherwise he will just make sure he can get a single row of four.

[ooc: 4 STs with +8: 10, 9, 9, 10 - miserable luck...]

Sol will attempt to bash the skeleton right in front of him with his warhammer.

[ooc: 3 attacks/damage rolls (please add whatever bonus the hammer gives - I forgot to add the +1 for prayer on the roller site): 8/8, 20/6, 9/9

OOC: Ahi would cast a spell, but I have lost my list of memorized spells for both of Ahi and Kherim. I cast Prayer because I always make sure to have at least one of those, but I have no idea what else I would have memorized by now :(

Kherim cries back to Eilkhan, with gritted teeth "no acid here", while he slashes yet again at the nearest skeleton.



OOC: ok, Kherim did not drop the shield then. Btw, I forgot Kherim has multiple attacks per round, apparently. Can I somehow compensate now?
