Well, in general yes. We all have a bless going on because of the Heroes's Feast and I've cast most of my protective spells.

As can be seen on the map, there's not only one but a whole row of dark pillars leading up to the throne.

The crucial observation is that the two pillars nearest the throne are still nearer than throne than the rest of the pillars, if this makes sense. This suggests the spell would arc between the throne and one of the pillars, instead of making a chain through pillars from the throne to the caster.

I'd say it seems safe.

Do we want to wait for Rafael to post for Ivid and Elmo or go forward?

Sadly, you're right. Not that I lacked interest in the game, though.
But, yeah, I am traveling a lot these days, so, when I am not responding, always anticipate what my character would do.
