i loved the first movie and hated the second. I saw the trailer for the third movie for the first time yesterday. I duno, doesn't look that impressive. I'm waiting for the critics.

I for my part can't wait to see this third installment of the series. :lol:

It's action, it's historical, it's usually good acting - that's all I want from an enjoyable movie these days... But then again, I am a nerd, don't listen to me. :smt002

I'd see it for Geoffrey Rush alone. I attribute the second film's meh-ness to his absence.

I enjoyed the second part, just found it a mess how they treated Orlando Bloom's character - it wasn't his acting, it were the texts that made him difficult to bear.

Geoffrey made a good Barbossa, though I am indeed sceptical if the explanation of his return will convince me... :lol:
