"Hey, maybe I can take a look?"

"You could Eilkhan", Kherim starts, "but I am very suspicious towards that inscriptiont. It made me want to read it... That must not be good."

"Okay then. So we move on?"

"So do I. Maybe some type of protection can work? Some spell or item could do that?"

Ivid shrugs. "I have no spells, or anything that could do this."

Ahi and Kherim converse for a while and come up with a plan.

"Well, I guess I can try reading it", Kherim says, "and I hope if there's anything bad coming out of it that Ahi can help me live through it. It might be good if everyone else leaves the pit first."

If everyone agrees, and after they leave the pit, Kherim casts Protection from Evil on himself and then tries to read the writing.

Sol will take a turn using the boots of levetation to get out of the pit. Then he will take a position where he can see what is going on in the pit and get out his bow to be ready, in case there is a need for "fire support".

The inscription says: Behold the Spirit of Rahotep which brings down the violators of the Eternal House of that Great One. His Third vexation.

"Third vexation? What does he mean?" Kherim asks, while double checking to see that nothing else happened.

"Wasn't it here that we saw a spirit fly over us, earlier on?"
