The Wayfarer's Inn

Ahi nods at Sol's expectant attitude, and continues:

"Regrettably I have nothing prepared that can affect this stone. That is more of a wizardly thing, I reckon. But mayhap Gaderon will still return."

Sol says "I better get started, just in case Gaderon is unable to return."

With that he will start carefully chipping away the stone from around one of Ahi's feet.

A few minutes later, Gaderon returns.

Gaderon takes in the situation for Ahi and Kherim and then responds "I have a spell in my spellbook that will fix this, but I didn't prepare it today. I will need to rest until I am able to do that spell. I am afraid that you will need to wait a bit before I can get you out." With that he will sit down and start resting.

Sol will simply resume working on the rock around Ahi's feet...

"Oh my legs", says Kherim in a half-mocking tone, anticipating at least 6 hours of cramps. "I shall endure", he says leaning on the nearest wall. He and Ahi try to sit, if the position allows.

Trying to break Ahi and Kherim free with help of his hammer is fruitless as it isn't the right tool for this kind work, and so Sol gives up after noticing that the risk of hurting the two in the process is too high.

Six hours of rest pass uneventfully, although the moans and groans from the trapped two due to cramps and other muscular pain was kind of distracting at times...

OOC: Please change Gaderon's choice of spells after this rest. Ahi and Kherim weren't able to recover, of course.

At the end of his rest he studies his spells and then Gaderon rises and casts a stone shape spell to free Ahi and Kherim's feet from the stone floor, saying "I am sorry that this took so long...".

Gaderon's spell works remarkably well in this situation. Carefully, the magic removes the stone around their feet and, groaning, both are finally free again.

Gaderon looks at his companions and says "Are we ready to push on? Or do the two of you need a rest?"

Sol will carefully move down the corridor toward where the creature had originally been to see if there is anything there, using Tizona's power to detect magic as he goes.

"No, I think we're fine. Let's move."
