Round 3: The party wins initiative

Sol swings Tizona at the beetle, and the blade cuts twice deep into the chitin () for 17 points of damage (), finally killing the monstrous insect.

No more of these creatures are approaching as far as can be seen.

OOC: 1600 XPs for each character.

Sol will use the powers of his sword to heal himself (two cure light wound spells).

Having used the hammer at the start of the combat, does Sol have a better understanding of it's powers?

Gaderon will observe the current situation, looking for other approaching dangers to the front while the others might be otherwise busy at the moment.

I don't think anyone else was harmed in this fight. We should just go on then, in my opinion.

Sure, let's get going.

Climbing over the huge and still slightly twitching cadavers of the scarabs, you progress further into the labyrinth, hoping to finally find a way out. Sol's impression of the warhammer he found in the tomb is that it is of very high quality. His attacks are significantly powered by the magical force of the hammer which he guesses to be of at least +3 quality.

You all follow the narrow and winding corridor around three more bends until you see two branches to the right ahead. From one of these branches comes a strange noise, not very loud, that sounds like the soft murmur of a crowd of people from a distance.

Sol will quietly draw his sword and dagger (in the left hand) and prepare for potential trouble ahead.

Gaderon will take out his wand of magic missiles just in case.

Eilkhan will put a finger to her lips in a be quiet gesture. Then grinning, she winks and points to her ring. Now she is invisible and she moves towards the voices slowly and quietly advances. She checks for traps and nasty surprises on the way.

Ahi suspects some kind of dark ceremony is going on in a room nearby. Apart from thinking of spells to cast, he does nothing. Same for Kherim, except that he moves into the front to near Sol if he's not already there.

Sneaking forward invisibly, Eilkhan peers around the first corner, noticing yet another corridor turning left further ahead. The weird murmuring sounds obviously comes from behind the next corner. As she moves closer, Eilkhan notices that the stone floor beneath her feet seems to become softer, like mud. Looking down, she sees that her feet have sunk a few inches into the floor, although it still looks like stone...
