OOC: Resurrection always works as long as there's a significant amount of the dead body left, even if it's only a pile of ashes.

The only thing of interest that Kherim finds is the long bronze staff of the statue. It looks very heavy though.

Noticing Elmo is missing, she asks "Uh, where is Elmo?" Seeing Ivid's look and how he is looking at Gaderon, she frowns. "Hey did I miss something?" She moves to place herself between Ivid and Gaderon.

Ok, correcting my previous post, since Ahi woudln't know about Elmo's death.

Ahi looks concernedly at Ivid's distorted face and Gaderon. The gaze of guilt in the latter's eyes give the priest some instinctive knowledge of what happened, but his practicality comes to the fore and he yells at the others:

"Please, restrain yourself just a while more. Let's get to safety at once, cause that fireball is surely going to explode soon here again, and I can ressurrect all of you if you choose to stand in harm's way!"

He stresses the word 'ressurrect', hoping that it will dawn some sense of hope on the others.

Kherim lays hands on himself as a first cautionary step. He's weak and wants to be prepared for some surprise.

Then, he tries to lift the staff and understand if it is as heavy as it looks.

Gaderon not understanding everything coming to pass looks to Ivid quite distracted as he nurses his wounds a bit and then shouts to all the others.

"Good now before another attack we should all retreat as fast as possible. This way so I might close the wall off from further such attacks. Ivid this way... Ivid?"

Gaderon catching the sight of Ivid's eyes is a bit confused yet motions to the clearly battle frenzied man. He is waiting for the others to run through before closing the gap he created in the wall and has now begun moving to the other side so he might close it quicker.

He preps a Dispel Magic however just in case an orb of fire appears before the blast that might end him soon.

Very unceremoniously, Ivid will punch Gaderon in the face.

...With the dagger in hand. Which should hurt. A nose for a friend, as they say in the Aerdi.

Ahi protests very loudly with Ivid

"IVID! That is uncalled for! If you have some grievance with Gaderon, at least go at it when we are out of that fireball's path, or we'll be all go see you two fight it out in Hell!!!"

He tries to drag whoever's near him to the nearest way away from the middle tunnel, possibly in Kherim's direction.

Before Ivid reaches Gaderon, Eilkhan quickly moves in between the two of them, and gently pushes the ranger back towards a safer location because the fireball will get loose very soon. Hurrying forward around the corner, Gaderon dispels the magically opened passage while Ahi and Kherim rush past the now-closed passage and to the northernmost corridor. Seconds thereafter the next fireball is released and, like the first one, remains hovering in midair at the center of the crossroads.

Your whole group gathers together at the still smoldering remains of Elmo. Some of you are badly damaged and Eilkhan is still trying to keep the enraged Ivid away from Gaderon. Kherim has brought along the heavy bronze staff of the Sobek statue.

"I will kick your a**!" - "You b******!" - "I will beat you into a f***, you c***!"

Feel free to insert the words that you deem most appropriate.

Ivid is furious.

If everything looks safe now, Ahi will say.

"Please, keep Ivid calm. I can bring Elmo back from the dead. But... I probably would need some 2 weeks of rest afterwards, so I shouldn't be able to do it in this tomb. But it's your choice: I can bring him back now, we leave these dungeons and come back later, or we can take Elmo's ashes and I will bring him back when we leave this tomb...
It's not an easy choice, I know, but there is hope anyway."

OOC: I'm assuming meanwhile someone has had time to explain what happened, Sol perhaps.
If that is the case, Ahi announces the terms of the Ressurrection spell. Sir C, do you keep the restriction of 1 day of bed rest per each level of the deceased?
Ahi has the spell both memorized and in a scroll. Do they have the same restrictions?
