OOC: Hmmm... I'm not sure if I really understood which corridor Eilkhan intended to check out, but to me "the next corridor" is the one behind the one with the statue, so...

IC: Slowly and carefully passing the corridor with the statue at its end, Eilkhan approaches the second corridor and peeks once more around the corner. There's nothing to be seen here yet as this corridor is longer than the one before and the end is beyond the range of Eilkhan's light source.

OOC: That was the corridor I was talking about Sir C.


Eilkhan will tread carefullly to that first point where she can see with her light source and stop. She'll look fro traps and fun on the way.

The corridor turns to the left a bit further ahead.

Ahi and Kherim follow Eilkhan carefullty.

Eilkhan proceeds to the end of the corridor. AS always she checks for traps. She listens then peeks around the corner.

OOC: I want to make sure where everybody is at this point, so here's a map with the current positions of your characters.

Eilkhan sees another statue behind the corner, only about 10 feet away from her, this one made of black basalt and being obviously a depiction of the evil crocodile-headed god Sobek, wearing nothing but a loincloth and a long serpent-headed staff made of bronze. The light of Eilkhan's gem gets reflected in the jewel eyes of the statue, and then a greenish light sparks inside the eyes and the statue starts walking towards her!

OOC: Please state Eilkhan's action for the next round. Kherim and Ahi so far only hear very heavy footsteps approaching and can take some action if they wish. The others don't notice anything - yet....

Sol, noticing that he has fallen behind the others, will quickly (not running, though, unless he hears something to alarm him) move to catch up.

"Son of a bitch. That's the first time that happens. Ahi, Kherim I suggest we fall back to meet the others. That crocodile man statue just woke up cause of my light and I am not going to even try to attack it. Sol and the others are better suited. Unless one of you has a spell for statues."

Eilkhan is moving back as she speaks. She is also pushing or pulling the two others along with her in the dirction of the others as fast as she can while speaking. Spying Sol she tells him the same thing. "Crocodile statue on it's way!"

Ahi and Kherim follow Eilkhan's advice. Kherim will retreat after Eilkhan, Ahi goes at the front and stops just at the beginning of the middle corridor. Kherim will join there later. If possible, Ahi explains to the others he has a mind to encircle the statue if at all possible, letting it stay in the junction at the top corridor with party members on each side of it and the others coming from the middle corridor to attack from behind.

Of course it's not likely we'll be able to pull this off completely, but we can try at least.
