Leaving the corridor with the tracks behind, you approach the first opening to the right. Another corridor twists and turns to the right and to the left again. Nothing can be seen there. The second opening to the right shows a straight corridor as far as you can see, and yet another opening to the right. From there comes some light, weak and flickering, like from some form of open flame.

"shall we go check the source of light?"

Sol whispers "I'm ready..." He has Tizona in his right hand and the war hammer in his left hand as he follows.

"Seems a maze may be the thing. I'll go check it out." She unsheathes her short sword and moves forward.
She does her usual inspection for traps, leaning her sword against the wall if she has too but it is never far.

Kherim and Ahi wait for Eilkhan to declare an area secure then follow her, in case she needs some sudden help.

Eilkhan peeks around the corner and sees two corridor openings, the first one leading to a 30' long corridor. At its end stands a man-sized statue of a lion-headed woman, made of some kind of dark stone, most likely the goddess Sekhmet. Floating above her hands that she holds out like a bowl in front of her, is a slowly rotating ball of flame, between 5 and 10 inches in diameter and clearly the light source that you noticed before.

"K, I dont think its a good idea to approach any further. Probably eat a nasty fireball. HOw's about I check the next corridor?"

"Please do."

Eilkhan nods and walks back. She moves to the top of the next corridor and looks down first before heading in that direction.
