The Wayfarer's Inn

Well, Kherim runs back to the others and tells of his findings. He suggests they go on through the stairs.

Sol is ready to go and will gladly follow up the stairs.

Eilkhan nods and heads up the stairs. She is careful as she goes.

To no surprise, another chamber looms ahead of you at the top of the stairs. Here the floor is completely covered with sand, and you can see snakes of various types that are native to the desert, but none monstrous, moving slowly about near the edges of the room.

Kherim's first impulse is to move forward in search of the next room.

After all, he thinks, these rooms are all empty anyway.

But then he stops.

"There might be traps... or even something well hidden under the sand. Will it be worth it? Or do you think this room is just one more of a theme?"

"Hold up. Let me look first without going in. I sure could use your item for floating, Gaderon."

Sol says "Judging from the looks of this chamber, we may have actually found a way out, since our way was blocked back in the room that burned up. Still, caution is warranted..."

OOC: Jumping in for Dani....

IC: Gaderon hands his boots to Eilkhan. "Be careful, rogue", he says, "I wouldn't want to continue barefoot in here."

"Thanks Gaderon." She dons the boots and proceeds into the room carefully.

The sand beneath Eilkhan's feet is very fine, and she immediately sinks into it for one or two inches as she enters the chamber. The snakes quickly take notice of her and get more active. Some raise their heads, their tongues flitting in and out in the thief's direction, others advance for a few feet, hissing menacingly, but not much more happens for the moment as they seem to realize that Eilkhan is too large for being prey.
