"Ahem..." (Dani straightens her clothes as she exits the closet...) "Of course I am interested Sir C, just waiting to act or find more action to comment on. I check back as often as I am allowed time online!!!"

Glances around at the others and then proceeds to toss a rather bent colander back into the closet whistling nonchalantly.

Hi Sir C,

I'm also in. And I try to check everyday. However, I've been away for 2 weeks more or less without net so I think I should have warned before hand. As the others, sometimes I get silent because I can't think of anything else to do. I've still got to catch up on went on these weeks and then I can say something more, but I'm enjoying the game a lot and I'd like to continue.

It's good to read that you all want to continue this game. Thanks. :)

Now let's wait for a final statement from Steve to hear how he thinks about it, and then continue.

BTW - I'll be away on holidays in Denmark from july 10th to 24th. No internet access during that time....

Sir C,
one thing I'd like to add is that often I feel I'm at a loss about what to do. This dungeon is supposedly so dangerous that in effect I feel afraid of risking too much. I don't know what the others feel, but I think we often may be over-estimating the dangers and so act by merely going forward without really 'doing' the things we're supposed to do. I don't know if that is a consequence of my own lack of experience or if I'd welcome a bit more of information or prodding in the right direction (aka, hints) from the DM.
Just a personal opinion, this is not meant to reflect what the others think, but it may explain why I am sometimes passive... and if the others feel like me, why sometimes the game stops.

So, this is in fact a message begging for an answer from the others and the DM too :) but not a criticism in any way.

I think I know exactly what you mean, Alex. In fact, I've come to the conclusion that this dungeon probably isn't well-suited for an online game. The two times that I ran the Tomb of Horrors, another classic by Gygax that is something like the predecessor of Necropolis and famous for its lethality, the players had long discussions about what to do at nearly every corner because of all the possible dangers. Playing a messageboard or PBEM game makes this very difficult at best, unless all players post regularly and very often, which is nearly never the case due to many different reasons - no criticism here from my side! If I knew this before, I would have perhaps chosen another adventure instead. But then, we learn from our mistakes.... :)

Thanks for the reply, Sir C. What you say may be true, but that's no reason to stop this game. I'd very much like to see it to the end, just not having Kherim dead in the process :p.
But I like dungeon crawls, and a dungeon crawl with an Egyption feeling surely is the most classic you can get so I love it! And of course, if there's no danger there's no challenge, there's no game, so I'm not asking you to lower the difficulty :) I'll just keep acting what I feel is in character enough for one who intends to do his job but get out alive if possible (also because dying too soon would not be conducive to doing his job anyway).

Okay, no problem with that, Steve. So is anyone willing to take over Ahi from Steve?
