Round 1: The demon wins initiative

Faster than any one of you can react, the thing lurches forward and touches another one of the figurines, which immediately transforms in yet another toad-demon. If this continues, you'll soon face more than a dozen of these horrors!

Although the newly found magical hammer only glances the creature's head (OOC: DAM 5 plus x as you don't know the hammer's magic yet), Sol can see that the damage is tremendous. The warrior then draws sword and dagger and moves at the side of Kherim. The paladin already hacks away at the thing, his scimitar dripping with blood and ichor (OOC: Two hits for a total of DAM 30).

Then Ahi steps forward: "BE GONE FROM THIS PLACE, DEMON SPAWN FROM HELL!" the cleric shouts, and much to your relief, the second demon that was summoned forth only seconds ago, vanishes again!

Gaderon and Ivid will join combat next round.

Seeing the damage done by throwing the warhammer, Sol regrets that he threw it, but that's life. He tries to move between the demon and the table as he attacks.

[His attacks are: 8/6, 23/7, 22/11 (assuming that the demon is not regenerating [+2], can not fly [+3] and is not undead [+4])

Kherim moves to the side of Sol, between the table and the demon, while shouting to no one in particular

"Try to keep those figurines away from the Demon, but don't touch them!!!"

He makes another two attacks (if still possible):

Attack: 14 / 26 (nat. 20)
Damage: 11, 10

Round 2: The demon wins initiative.

The remaining demon's immediate reaction is the utterance of a single, gruesome word in the terrible language of the Dark Duat. It sounds like rolling thunder and reverberates inside your heads, making you want to cover your ears and eyes as blood starts to trickle forth from them.

OOC: The effects are as follows: Elmo staggers back, reeling and unable to continue combat. The rest of you are deafened, slowed (move reduced by 25%), all your attack dice are reduced by -2, and all spells cast have a 50% chance of failure.

The demon then grabs Sol with its two bearlike paws (causing 11 points of damage this way as his talons tear the warrior's flesh) and hurls him backwards like a toy doll against Ivid. Both he and the bowman crash to the floor and lose their attacks this round.

Kherim, albeit weakened, continues to hack at the demon and scores two more hits (for a damage total of 17, due to the spell effects).

Biting his lips from the effort, Gaderon tries to concentrate on correctly casting his wall of force spell, and succeeds ( )! Although the magical barrier is invisible, he knows that he did everything correctly, and that now the demon should not be able anymore to touch the figurines on the table.

Luckily avoiding the flying Sol, Ahi starts casting a helping prayer, but his tongue feels somewhat swollen and the words come out wrong due to the dizziness in his head. The spellcasting failed ( ).

Eilkhan's first bolt hits the demon squarely in the chest, but doesn't penetrate the wart-covered, slimy hide of the creature, the second bolt misses completely.

Finally, the demon's skin starts to drip with a foul ooze that exudes a horrible stench.
OOC: Everyone within the room except for Gaderon and Elmo, please make a ST vs. paralyzation.

Sol will hear Ivid roll his eyes.

"At least you're not in the line of fire any more!"

Assuming that he is not paralyzed, Sol will get up and attempt to dive under the table to the other side, behind the demon. Once there he will retrieve the war hammer as he gets up and turn on the demon with the hammer from the rear. He will hold his sword in his left hand and try to use it like a shield, if necessary.

Gaderon feeling the spell activate properly is unsure of further casting still but begins to recite the words necessary for another spell. The motions of the spell are hard to act out under these effects but he attempts to grant haste to Ivid as he is the closest.
