Gaderon shakes his head, and rubs his chin while examining the hammer with his eyes...

"I unfortunately do not have the knowledge of the spell that identifies the hammer... I could at most, detect its magic and type it's magic tomorrow. Right now I could only examine it more fully and or swing it into a wall or another object to see if it has any effect but that is the limit of what I can do to aid! If you wish I will do such..."

OOC: If you do then Gaderon will take as much time as he feels necessary to examine and test the hammer!!!

"I have no use for a hammer at any rate. Here, take it, unless someone wants to use a magical hammer of which they have no idea what it does."

The hammer is clearly a weapon made for battle, that much Gaderon can say after testing the item for a while. It could of course be used as a tool or a powerful door-opener, but that is not its purpose. Any more information could only be gathered by means of an identify spell.

Ivid, observing his friends, is frowning:

"So, another item we have no use for."

Sol responds "I can take it as a spare weapon if nobody else is interested it..."

Ivid grins a wolfish grin.

"I could use it as a spare arrow, if you like."

"I could probably use it too, but I'm well equipped for the moment. You can take it, Sol."
Then turning to Gaderon
"Do you think you could try identifying the hammer another day? It would be useful if it has any abilities that might be advantageous to us."

Sol will accept the war hammer and attach it to his belt. As he does so, he asks "So, shall we see what is behind the next door?"

"Yes," replies Eilkhan.

She checks once more for surprises at the door then if it isn't locked, opens it. If not she unlocks it then opens it.

OOC: Since we were dealing with the right most door on the top of the map (logical north), I would take the next door to mean the one immediately to the left (logical west) of where the party is currently located.
