[Sol is down to 18 hp and has taken 21 in a single round earlier, so he will accept Elmo's offer.]

Hearing Elmo's offer, Sol says "You can take my place." He will then step back protecting himself with his sword and dagger and let Elmo take his place in the front line.

Even before Sol's retreat, Kherim answers Elmo
"I'm fine, take Sol's place, he's worse than I at the moment."

Then he attacks again, 3 attacks now.

Round 5

The slave-warriors win inititative.

Before one of you can react, the two golem-warriors attack once more. Sol elegantly dodges both swings this time, but Kherim's opponent manages to break through the paladin's defense and damage him for 23 hps.

OOC: Ahi healed himself 17 hps last round.

Happily, Sol steps back and lets Elmo take his place. The stocky warrior swings his great axe only once and splits the golem's head in half. Collapsing to the ground, the savage vanishes. At his side, Kherim makes short work with the remaining savage, killing him with three quick blows of his scimitar.

OOC: 2040 XPs for everyone.


Looking around the place, you can see smoldering heaps of now completely destroyed furnishings. There's still smoke in the air and it's also hot, but it's possible to breathe again. The nicely painted ceiling is blackened by soot, as are all remaining doors and the walls.

Kherim breathes heavily, while kneeling to thank Horus for his protection. He is sorely damaged and bleeds profusely, and in his eyes the only reason he's alive is due to his faith in his god and his benevolence.

"Perhaps we can afford a rest now? I feel very weak."

OOC: Kherim is down to 12hp and still has lowered STR and CON.

Gaderon nods his assent and after replacing his wand into his belt leans back near the frame of the door, resting as well... The fatigue from what ever the gas was still lingers and he feels tired from his petty exertions in combat.

"Perhaps there is something that can be done to lessen the effects of this gas for those affected... I while tired am fine with being so if it will bring back strength to a skilled sword arm... My skill relies on my will and I will manage until I can be healed as well..."

With little else to say Gaderon drinks a sip of whatever water is left in his waterskin being little and sets his pack to the side to lay his head upon it so he might rest until the others settle in and he fall's to sleep...

Sol says "Thank you, Elmo. Well done everyone!" With that he sits down to rest and bandage his wounds.

Ahi will move around healing as many people as he can while Eilkhan inspects the room by taking her time.

Sol smiles and says "Thank you for the healing, Ahi. I think that we still need to rest and recover from our recent encounters. I will gladly stand guard." Sol will look at the stairs that we came down to see if the adamanite bars are still blocking them.

[ooc: How long has it been since we rested? Is it appropriate for us to take a nap/prayer/meditation time to recover spells and all at this point? I tend to lose track of this sort of thing...]
