Understanding the circumstances better now and agreeing with Kherim, Sol backs into the doorway next to Kherim after Ahi retreats back up into the hallway. As he does so, he says "We may need Ivid or Elmo to come up and replace one of us pretty soon..."

He will continue to strike at #4 as he does so, unless one of the others replaces #4 in front of the doorway, in which case he will attack which ever one is in front of him.

Gaderon listening to the others begins casting, mumbling and tossing sparkling powder onto Elmo while laying his hands on his shoulder...

OOC: Stoneskin on Elmo before he can advance into combat!!!

Round 3

The savages win initiative.

Desperately, Ahi and Sol try to defend themselves from the brutal pummeling of the savage warriors. Still, both get hit by the powerful fists, Sol losing 7, and Ahi 6 hit points.

Barely getting away alive, Ahi hastily retreats to the room's entrance and lets Kherim take over. The paladin's scimitar cuts through the weak defense of the golem-warrior easily, and he kills it with three powerful sword blows (OOC: #2, not #4 as Kherim couldn't reach that opponent).

While retreating a few steps himself, Sol kills another savage, which now leaves only two behind.

The casting of the stoneskin spell on Elmo was successful.

Sol turns on savage #3. Two attacks this round with adjustments: 14/13 & 17/8 [Finally a good damage roll!]

Gaderon will once more cast Magic Missile at one of the savages from his wand...

"Elmo! Begin moving forward, as the spell will make you impervious to the next blow or rapid blows you sustain..."

Kherim strikes at the nearest savage.

2 attacks, at 10 and 8. I don't think there's a point in rolling for damage.

Round 4

The party wins initiative.

Although Sol, Kherim, and Gaderon do their best to bring the last two golem-warriors down with sword and spell, they're not yet successful. Both remain on their feet, albeit badly damaged, and continue to attack.

Kherim is able to parry both swings, but Sol gets hit once for another 9 points of damage.

"You want me to take over?" Elmo has moved behind Kherim and Sol and is ready to take one of the places in the front line.

Ahi has healed himself as well and feels ready for battle. He moves forward. "Let me through. With my rod I can take care of these golems."
