Hi all,

I am thinking of letting my campaign return to the Flanaess:

In the aftermath of the Greyhawk Wars, the heroes are summoned to Rauxes to plot the assassination of Ivid the Overking.

What do you think of this hook and how would you set this up?

Yours,

Rafael

:smt001 Just checked them - doesn't look bad, though they are... How many? Four were published, and four more are to be expected? :ohno:

I had thought more of a simple *go in, fight a zombie dragon and get out* scenario of about five sessions. :smt001 If I get the chance to play a longer fantasy campaign again, this could indeed be an option - you know how much I like the Great Kingdom setting. :smt001

These four adventures are anything but simple and are indeed a min-campaign in themselves. Check out this thread over at DF: http://www.dragonsfoot.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=17881 You'll find some interesting things about them in there. Personally, I'd love to play them one day - but then I'm a big fan of Rob's writings, so this is really no surprise :smt001.
I especially like the second and fourth adventure. Both are excellent and among Rob's best. The first one is pretty good too, the only weakness lies in the third one IMO. Although a fascinating setting with lots of interesting detail, I find to be simply unplayable as written and it therefore needs quite a bit of alteration.

Thank you. :smt001 I'll check if I find them somewhere cheap on ebay, though I am in no rush. This first attempt to assassinate the Overking will most likely be based entirely on my homebrew stuff. :pirate:

Will post more here as the idea evolves...
