Are those doors behind the sarcophagus? Do they look like ones?

Ok, and sorry that I made that question on the game thread. But my next question is really in-character, now that I've reread that description.

I wanted to read the description of the other room, but I've been skimming the threads in search for a picture I remembered (faster to locate it that way) but I still couldn't find anything, and I have to leave now.

So, still without rereading the similar encounter, in this room, am I correct in assuming that the portal does not have any figure at all? Can Kherim see any kind of slots on the portal, by the words indicating the parts of the self, or perhaps in any other arrangement?

This portal here has no figure on it, neither a skeleton on a throne nor a human-headed vulture thing. There are no slots or similar features on the portal.

Is there anything that might resemble a lock or a handle? Are there fissures that may suggest the outline of a door, or an opening of some kind?

It looks like a simple mural, and Kherim finds nothing that hints at a secret door here.

OOC: So, was there a coffer that survived the attack by the demon? I missed that, I thought that they were all destroyed.

Sol responds "So, it looks to me like we have two ways to go; up the stairs in the giant pillar or back out the doors that we came into the room through. Which way should we leave by?"

Eilkhan approaches Kherim to help him look for hidden doors or traps. Turning to Sol she replies "Well, we know the stairs are here. Why not exit this room and continue searching this place?"

Ahi, satisfied with everyone's health, is in agreement with the rogue "I say we conitnue on our way as well. We know of this place and can always return."

"I am intrigued by that wall over there, but I agree we can leave it for later. There is probably much we haven't seen yet in this level, and surely much that was designed to wear us down and detracts us from our real purpose, so I don't know what is best.

We have a narrow tunnel that we haven't really explored near the Mortuary Chapel and a large tunnel that continues to the right as we leave this room and reach a crossroads. I would prefer to check this tunnel."

As Kherim begins to walk away from the wall with the inscription, he says aloud, as if suddenly remembered.

"So, is anyone interested in seeing what that coffer contains?"
