Ahi takes his place in the MO, close enough to provide support to our front line fighters.

Kherim has been observing in silence as the others explore the room. The words Ahi read from the shrine resonate in his mind. It's surely not a coincidence they are so filled of Khemitian lore, they must hold a second meaning that he can not uncover yet. The only thing that became clear to him, so far is that, of the nine parts, only the Name was not mentioned.

The riddle is too much for him, and he dutifully keeps guard at the door while the other move about. When Eilkham decides to move forward, his first instinct is to impede her and take his place at the lead, but she is the party's scout, anyway. He decides to stay at the rear protecting the weakest members of the group, while the party moves up the narrow staircase.

One by one, with Eilkhan taking the lead, you enter the dark and cramped stairway and slowly start climbing upwards. Around and around it goes, spiralling upwards ever higher in a steep angle. After at least a dozen full circles, Eilkhan finally reaches the top of the stairs and the entrance of a tunnel, irregularly dug out of the surrounding earth and rock. It features no decoration or plastering and is approximately 5-10 feet wide in most places. The tunnel continues as far as she can see and seems to be sloping gently upwards.

Sol says "Let's go back down and continue searching the Great Burial Chamber."

"I concur", Kherim says. "I don't like to have too many open paths to search at the same time..."

"Very well" Eilkahn responds from the top of the spiral staircase. "Everyone back down so I can scout ahead once more."

Gaderon turns around and begins to descend the stair case again...

"Then let us do this... Perhaps we will not have to follow these stairs once more if we find our answers below..."

Returning to the Great Chamber below, you see that nothing has changed here. What now?

Kherim looks back as everyone gathers safely in the room, casting his glance at the column.
"Is there anyway to close this door? It's always a bad idea to leave one open at our back."
He looks at the other button and recalls the corresponding message:
"I wager the other button may open a way to a room where the Evil One's servants may have been entombed. Better to keep it closed for the moment, while we decide if we should explore more things on this level."
