Or simply unwilling to sacrifice themselves in a fight against their friends gone nuts. Ivid and Elmo might well be convinced that the magi-users in the party are far more powerful than they are.

OCC: He will attempt to begin ascending as high as the at least 18ft or as high as possible for the chamber will allow with the boots of levitation, and Gaderon will begin casting his spell (5 segments) risking interuption... He is moving forward slightly to be above the others...

Pointing his blade at Ahi, the golden masked Kherim speaks in a low but clearly audible tone, "Flee..."

Round 1

While Eilkhan takes out her bow and hurries to get behind Ivid and Elmo, who both seem to be confused about the turn of events, Gaderon makes a powerful jump into the air and levitates up to the ceiling (18 feet high). Desperately, Sol tries to grasp one of the wizard's legs, but he comes too late.
Ahi's light spell has no effect on Kherim, since the paladin seemed to resist the magic. Standing a few feet away from Ahi, Kherim now commands the cleric to flee.

OOC: Please make a ST for Ahi vs magic. And everyone please announce their actions for round two.

Ahi's ST:

Whether he makes it or not, Ahi makes a beat for the door. Wisdom is his strongest attribute after all.
Ahi's intention is to join the others, not to desert his possessed friends in this room of evil, I won't actually leave the door but get into a spot to cast spells. "We need to get those masks off without touching them I fear," he'll say while fleeing.

Sol will retrieve his sword and spear and then try to hit Gaderion with the spear to disrupt his spell casting.

OOC: another great attack roll, no damage roll since Sol wasn't trying to hurt him just distract him,
he got a 5 (with no adjustments)...
