"And I can of course help you by carrying all those gems, jewelry and gold there" Eilkhan says with a grin and winks. "No, but seriously we can use my bag to store for splitting later if you like."

Kherim gives the gold and jewels only a passing glance, ignoring totally the talk of division. Looking to the wand he nods to Ahi, "It is fitting you carry this dark relic."

Turning then, he again scans the chamber as though seeking hidden enemies.

As soon as Ahi touches the scepter, its functioning and abilities are revealed to him. He shudders because of the evil within this item, but also knows that it does no harm to him and that he may carry it along without fear.

Sol is absolutely right about the vast amount of treasure found here. Inside the chests are ancient gold and silver coins, the jars are sealed and most likely hold perfumes and unguents, the numerous bowls, cups, goblets, mirrors and other other items are all made of gold or silver and often studded with gems or inlaid with bands of precious stones, some of them are filled with sparkling gems to the brim - it's truly more than even Eilkhan's magical bag could hold. None of it is magic as Sol can quickly determine by using Tizona's power, and so he and Eilkhan start to fill the smaller goodies like gems, jewelry and coins into her bag.

Among the treasure, there's one item that probably catches the eye of Kherim - a beautiful golden amulet of exquisite workmanship that shows the Eye of Horus inlaid with onyx and jade.

The items that Sol picked for his wife Katrina are a golden necklace with the engraved image of a Phoenix, a golden ring with a topaz scarab and a golden brooch with concentric circles etched in it.

After about a half hour or more, Eilkhan's bag is well filled with treasure. It now also holds the three magic items that the mummy wore: Flail, crook and mask.

Looking around, it seems as if there's not much more in here (except for another wagonload of treasure, of course).

What will you do next?

Sol looks around the chamber and asks "Was the mummy the source of the evil happenings that were coming from this place? Have we finished our quest? Or do you think that the source of the problems is still to be found in these tunnels? How will we know for sure? Have we checked this room for secret entrances? That might be our next step as there may be secret chambers further in..."

Sol moves into the outer room where we fought the golems and mummies holding his torch in one hand and the spear in the other, saying "I will stand guard out here while we determine what our next move is to be."

Kherim's gaze sweeps the room and then he pauses as he sees one item amongst the treasure. He steps over and stoops to pick up a beautifully crafted amulet displaying the Eye of Horus worked in jade and onyx.

"This I shall claim. Of the rest, divide it as you will."

He continues to regard it then, musingly, (OOC: detecting evil) "I wonder how it made it's way to this dark tomb? Stolen most likely. I shall see it returned to it's rightful place amongst the other relics of the Avenger. But not just yet," Here the paladin turns to look at Sol, "No, our work is not yet complete my friend. Still I carry the accursed Book of Eternity just as you all bear the weight of a similarly treacherous artifact. Until we have seen to their destruction, our work continues in this place of death."

Kherim then clasps the amulet around his neck, the jeweled Eye of Horus resting upon his rune carved breast-plate. (OOC: assuming of course it does not detect as evil)

"My amulet would have revealed any secret entrances or exits within this chamber, I agree with Kherim that our task is not finished. Even if that was the evil one we seek, which I have my doubts, then we do need to ensure the rest of this tomb is rid of evil and the destruction of these evil artifacts." Ahi will leave the chamber to put his talisman to good use in the outer (?) chamber to see if there are any other secret/hidden things that they missed.

As he stands guard, Sol responds to Kherim and Ahi "So, unless we find other secret passages here, we need to go back to the main corridor and choose to go either left or right to explore the the rest of this maze looking for the true source of the evil coming from this tomb, as well as a means to destroy these evil artifacts..."

Sorry for being late again. Will Ivid and Elmo get their share of the loot as well?
- Surely they would not just stand by.
Though Ivid might be suspsicious that the treasure might be cursed.
