Sol will get down on his hands and knees, still holding the Pharoh's spear in one hand, and crawl into the burial chamber to try to get around to where he can see into the tomb area without inhaling too much smoke.

Eilkhan will join the others and do a search of the place as well. She has wet a scarf and wrapped it around her lower face as not to inhale the disgusting mummy smoke.

Kherim pins his dark keffiyeh scarf across his face so that only his eyes are left revealed. Squinting, he attempts to pierce the cloud of smoke with his gaze though he makes no move to enter the inner chamber.

Crawling on the floor is likely the only way to see anything within the burial chamber at this very moment because the smoke is way too thick to see through otherwise. You guess that it might perhaps take another ten minutes or so until the fire will have died down enough to reduce the amount of smoke significantly.

As far as Sol can see, those bits and pieces of the treasure that were close to the shrine were possibly damaged by the heat of the fire. The shrine itself is reduced to burning and glowing bits of firewood and charcoal, the sarcophagi that were within are unharmed of course.

Sol will crawl back out of the burial chamber and report to the group "It looks like the shrine is going to be burning for a while, yet." As he waits he will use his sword to cast detect magic on the artifacts left by the mummy.

Tizona detects magic on all three items, with the aura being strongest on the golden mask.

Stepping over to the items left behind by the mummy, Kherim holds a mailed hand out over each in turn as he seeks to determine if any bear the taint of evil.

OOC: Detecting evil off each of the three items.

Kherim immediately notices a wave of evil and corruption emanating from the golden mask, but not from the two weapons.

The paladin scowls as he passes his hand over the mask, "There is the stink of evil upon this mask. It should be destroyed or barring that, sealed away where others cannot reach it."

Looking up from the items, Kherim then continues, "The other two relics hold no darkness which I can sense. Is there one amongst you able to make use of these implements?"
