OOC: To answer Ron's question: Yes, the mummy is clearly taking damage from the fire, although not as much as you had probably hoped...

While it advances towards you with incredible speed, three bolts of electricity shoot forth from the mummy's crook and hit Kherim in the chest for 13 points of electrical damage.
• OOC: Please make a ST for Kherim against Rod/Staff/Wand for half damage - 6 points in this case.
Only a wink of an eye later it stands before Sol and swings its flail at the warrior who - with a near inhuman reflex - manages to block the powerful attack with his shield.

As it stands before you now, all of you feel a terrifying presence emanating from the creature...
• OOC: Everyone please make a ST vs magic, adjusted with WIS-bonus where applicable.

Sol, having no chance to attack the small beetle anymore now that this undead horror stands before him, attacks the mummy instead. His first attack misses, but the second one is a hit. Sol notices that he has difficulties to cut through the thick bandages, which results in only half damage: 7 points. As the mummy is hit, a small golden object falls to the ground from beneath the bandages.
• OOC: Greg, I've adjusted your damage bonus upwards to +8 instead of +5 since Tizona is a flaming sword and does more damage against undead.

Boldly stepping forward, Ahi presents the holy symbol of Neith to the mummy.
• OOC: Please make a d20 roll for Ahi's turning attempt.

Kherim's two attacks both hit the advancing beetle and destroy it.

Ivid's magical arrow misses the mummy as it approaches. His two normal arrows both hit and kill the scarab that crawls towards him.
• OOC: I gather that Ivid picked a +2 arrow instead of one of +1 quality. The attack roll against the mummy was a 10.

"Golf balls??? What in Apuat's name are you talking about???" Stepping forward, Elmo smashes his battle axe at the scarab in front of him, but he needs two attacks to finish the insect off because the first one was too hastily made.

Both Gaderon and Asterion manage to kill the two scarabs that threaten them.

Eilkhan smashes the beetle with her boot (a 15 for to hit) and steps forward to attack the mummy, but her sword attack misses (a 3).

Two beetles remain and, as they reach Ahi and Sol, they start to meld into their bodies as if they were unsubstancial...
• OOC: And yet another ST vs magic for Ahi and Sol.

OOC: Damn.

Clarence here are my rolls (sorry didn't send the Turn earlier), Turn (18), Save vs. Magic (11 with adjustment ), and Save vs. Magic Beetle (18 - hope I get some the same Wisdom Adjustment (+4) there b/c then I'm really good.)

[ooc: Does Sol's ring of spell turning have any effect on the saving throws for Magic?]

With a curse under his breath, Sol will continue to attack the mummy. It's too late to wait for the turning attempt.

Two saving throws against magic (no adjustments - I have no clue what is needed for this): 18 & 10

Three attacks (with adjustments of +8/+8): 27/15, 26/12 & 23/13

[ooc: I am glad you told me about the flame tongue sword! It looks like I was exceptionally lucky on the to hit rolls, too.]

OOC: rolled a 20 with my +2 for being a paladin on the save vs Rod/Staff/Wand and a 19 with the same +2 for my save vs Magic.

IC:

Kherim gives out a battle cry and lunges toward the mummy, his curved blade slashing!

OOC: eh, not great but here it is. Rolled 9/10 and 8/7 for to-hit and damage rolls on the mummy.

Asterion rolled 15, +1 for his Ring of Protection +1 - total 16. Asterion will turn his Rod into the Flametongue and start attacking the mummy.

Gaderon rolled 9, +5 for his Ring and Staff - total 14. As it is too crowded to do the area effect spell Gaderon originally envisaged, Gaderon will start casting magic missiles from his wand at the mummy.

Attack the mummy from afar with arrows.
