The mummies win initiative.

Mummy #8 attacks Sol and hits him once. It's only a glancing blow this time, for 5 points of damage.

Mummy #9 hits Ahi with two devastating blows for a total of 18 points of damage
OOC: And leaving Ahi with only 3 hps....


Mummy #6 thrashes at Kherim and scores two painful hits for 21 points of damage.


With his last remaining power and Neith's help, Ahi disrupts mummy #9.

Sol needs both attacks to finally kill mummy #8.

The last remaining mummy gets hit twice by Kherim for a total of 22 points of damage, but since it was unharmed before that's not enough for it.

Of Eilkhan's two arrows, only the first hits the mummy and causes 3 more points of damage.
OOC: She's able to shoot twice per round, so I picked the next roll from the list you sent me, Steve. Unfortunately, it was a 10, so that's a miss.

Ivid finally gets a chance to release one arrow from his bow, and this one hits (a 15 was rolled by me) and causes another 10 points of damage to it.

Asterion would very much like to heal Kherim one more time, but he can't since he has used his staff already twice today (which is the maximum) and had only prayed for one cure spell.

There are so many things within this heap of treasure, that Gaderon can only guess which one might help here... perhaps that scarab over there? The gilded mace? Or that amulet with the holy glyph of Thoth? So many of these items could be magical that it's very hard to tell for him.

OOC: No map this time since the situation is pretty clear with the last remaining iron mummy standing in front of Kherim. Combat's nearly over.... ;)

His breath becoming somewhat ragged from both his wounds and his exhertion, the steadfast Kherim does not slacken his pace as he pushes past the pain and again slashes at his remaining foe!

Sol quietly says "Yes!" as he takes out his mummy. Then he steps into the space where Ahi had been standing and attackes the remaining mummy (#6) three times. If this mummy goes down before his last attack he will try to use Tizona to heal himself with a cure light wounds spell.

His adjusted dice rolls to hit and damage are: 15/11, 16/12 and 8/11.

To heal: I am not sure what die to roll.

The party wins initiative and, while Ahi heals Kherim 17 hps, the combined efforts of the others smash the remaining iron mummy to pieces.

OOC: Combat's over and each character gains 5700 XPs. Please tell me if you want to have an updated map.

Since I've already described the burial chamber during combat when Gaderon was looking around, I won't repeat everything again now but only add the following:


The lid of the large wooden shrine bears the cartouche of "The Set Rahotep", that looks like this:

The plastered walls of the chamber show writings that repeat evil prayers for the continuance of Rahotep in the dark depths of the Duat.

Sol is down 57 HP at this point, so he will focus on caring for his wounds by casting all three of his Cure Light Wound spells on himself using his magic sword, Tizona. Only then will he put any effort into checking out the burial chamber.

Kherim leans wearily against the door frame, bruised and bleeding from the iron fists of the tomb guardians. About his feet, is piled fragmented bone already turning to dust. He seems to catch his wind and then straightening he looks to the others before achnowledging his own hurts.

"Are any wounded, I have not the healing powers of the revered Ahi, yet still Horus has bestowed upon me some minor gifts in the area."

OOC: Kherin is down 56 points, he can lay hands upon himself for 32 points but he is averse to using his healing upon himself if others are hurt.
