Sol is relatively unscathed.

His intention in moving forward was to form a line with Ahi, so that the mummies will not all be able to gangup on him, since (from the map) Ahi currently has one mummy in front of him and one on either side. So, all three mummies could attack Ahi at once. Sol did not intend to move into the outer room again by himself.

OOC: Kherin isn't doing so great, he's down to 33 from 84. He generally tries not to use his lay hands ability on himself as he feels it should be used on others, however if he has to he may soon do so. He has healing spells as well but it means taking him out of the fight.

Asterion is willing to step into the line if necessary - but he only has 27 hit points (down from 35). Gaderon is not so willing, as he is a mage and therefore useless in melee combat.

OOC: Since Mark stated no intentions for Gaderon and Asterion, I assume that both will remain in the back and do nothing this round. The same goes for Eilkhan, Elmo and Ivid. I'd like to continue now, so here comes...

Round 3

First the good news: Entering the burial chamber didn't spring any trap or unleash guardian creatures on you. Considering the place you're in, your decision to just run in there was a bold and risky move, but one that luckily worked. :)

The not so good news is that the mummies win initiative again, but since you're in a strategically better position now, only three at a time can attack (they're clumsy things, which means that only mummy #4 is able to attack Ahi but not #11 and #5).

The three mummies in the doorway pummel Sol, Ahi and Kherim with their iron fists, but not a single blow hit you this time! (I can't believe that my reliable d20 rolled this... :( )

Ahi swings his Uas rod again, and in a flash of light and a roll of thunder another mummy is blasted into oblivion.

Sol's two attacks with Tizona are successful but don't take the mummy down. Although a bit jagged looking, it still stands its ground and continues attacking.

Kherim, although steadfast, obviously suffers from the massive damage that he had to take. His attacks are not precise enough this time to inflict further damage on the mummy in front of him.

OOC: I think a map update isn't necessary. Mummy #5 has closed the gap in the front and is about to attack Ahi next round.

OOC - Sorry, I was waiting for a reply to Ivid's call. He might have realized that he will be useless against the mummies w/o magic arrows, and might want to rely on the powers of the others.

Sol will continue the fight with mummy #12. He gets three attacks this round. If he takes down #12 he will step forward next to Ahi and continue by attacking mummy #11.

His adjusted rolls are: 22/8, 12/12, & 25/13

[Edited: With the house rule that Sir Clarence just posted, I want to note that Sol's third attack was a natural 20 with a +5 to hit.]
