Here goes nothing! Attack roll on # 12 of 13. Damage total of 8. I only have one attack I presume? I think 13 hits? I hit a -1 a.c

Eilkhan jumps up on the sarcophagus and unsheathing her sword, she jabs it in at the iron mummy, scoring a hit!

FYI, It's 6pm for me, I'm leaving work now (yeah, nice on a Friday no less, supervising behavioral health services stinks) and I'm not sure when I'll be back online this weekend. I may be, but can't be sure. So Ahi supports the party first, then attacks, and will pull anybody out of the fray (as much as he can) when they need it. I'll go into the fray to heal if need be as well. It's fun to say fray on a Friday... okay, lack of sleep from sick 1yo last night. Everyone have an awesome weekend!

Cursing, Ivid let's Elmo protect him for another moment, and then cowers down to change his bow for his scimitar and
the shield.

When he gets up again, both weapons look strangely mishappen in his hands, like if he wasn't used to hold them...

Then, he will step to Elmo's side, and shout the age-old battle cry of the rangers of the Great Kingdom:

"Bitterness!!!"

Asterion gets the +4 battle axe and attacks the mummy nearest to him (the one the Melf's Acid Arrow didn't work on).

Gaderon will strike his mummy (the one the Magic Missile was ineffective against) with his staff.

Round 2

The party wins initiative as the mummies are closing in to melee range.

Ahi casts Prayer, which easily covers the whole room with its effect, giving you another +1 to all your attack rolls and STs. You notice that the mummies don't seem to be affected by it. After casting the spell, Ahi reaches for his Uas rod.

Eilkhan is in for a bad surprise as she attacks her opponent. Her well-placed blow hits the mummy, but her blade doesn't penetrate the iron that it is made of. She can't say whether this is because the magic of the sword isn't strong enough or she needs to hit even better.

Sol moves back from the door a few steps, all the while attacking mummy #1. Only his second attack hits this time though, for another 12 points of damage (one more because of the prayer spell). Still not enough for that mummy.

Kherim also only hits once this round (the mummies' iron bodies are incredibly hard) for another 13 points of damage, which still isn't enough for the thing. He guesses though that it won't survive another hit like this one.

Elmo is very lucky to hit mummy #7 again with his axe (rolled an 18 for him) for 12 more points of damage, while protecting Ivid as much as he can from the mummies, which means that he draws the attention of three of those monsters on himself.

Ivid manages to change his weapons just in time before the mummies approach him. There's still time for him to attack once with his scimitar, and he hits (rolled a 20)! His blade cuts into mummy #9 for 8 points of damage.

Asterion pushes a button on his rod of lordly might and changes the item into a powerful battle axe. He swings the axe at mummy #4, but misses (rolled an 8).

Gaderon is the only one in the party that isn't attacked by an iron mummy. Since his staff is long enough to strike from the second rank, he strikes at mummy #10 and hits (rolled a 20) for 5 points of damage.

OOC: Since you didn't provide die rolls, Rafe and Mark, I suppose that it's okay for you when I roll instead. The numbers that I mention include all bonusses (weapons, spells, strength, specialization). I will never tell you what the attack rolls of the monsters are though...

Finally the mummies attack you with a whirlwind of iron fists, having two attacks each. Mummy #12 strikes at Eilkhan and hits her once for 9 points of damage.
Mummies #2 and 3 both attack Kherim and hit him three times for a total of 24 points of damage.
Mummy #4 attacks Asterion and misses.
Mummies #5 and 9 attack Ivid and hit him three times for a total of 23 points of damage.
Mummies #6, 7 and 8 attack Elmo and hit him three times for a total of 16 points of damage.
Mummy #10 attacks Ahi and hits him twice for a total of 21 points of damage.
Mummies #1 and 11 attack Sol and hit him only once for 11 points of damage.

You realize that these killers are beating the shit out of you in a most effective way. Who knows what they would have been able to do would they still have the iron lotus flowers in their hands.... ;)

OOC: Please state your intentions for round 3. I would be most happy if you could include all bonusses into your die rolls (specialization and prayer spell effect too) since that makes it a lot easier for me. Thanks a lot.

Eilkhan isn't surprised at the result of her failed attack. And judging by the results of the others, they aren't faring too well against these mummies. "Any great ideas are welcome, guys! My blade is useless against these iron mummies!"

Eilkhan isn't daft. So she will fight defensively and try to dodge out of the way of her mummy's blows. She'll try to make it safely to the door.

Reeling from the blows he has received from the two mummies upon him, Kherim continues to strike back at the tomb guardians before him while shouting to the others, "They are too strong for us, we must secure a stronger position behind one of the doors. They will lose the advantage of their numbers if fighting through the portal!"

OOC: to-hit/damage rolls minus Spec bonus -- 16/9, 20/11, 19/6

If possible, should mummy #2 fall can I have the other hits strike mummy #3?
