The Wayfarer's Inn

"Ignore him," Ahi says loudly, moving closer to Eilkhan and the doorway, "it's likely just a programmed illusion, he's just trying to sow confusion and doubt in our task. Now we know not to touch the crook." Ahi holds his rod and runs through some spells in his mind, but looks at the door/skeleton for any reaction at all.

Ivid says "Elmo, stay focused on the entrance to the corredor behind us. I will keep watch on the two side entrances..."

With that Ivid remains in the back of the room where he can keep on eye on each of the two, now opened, secret doors, concentrating primarily on the door where the two statues were located. Elmo will keep watching and listening to the place where we broke into this chamber originally. Both have their weapons ready.

Kherim glares back at the skeletal figure, "Be you Rahotep or merely his shade, we have no need of your powers or domains! Now begone by the will of The Avenger!"

OOC: Kherim casts Dispell Magic upon the figure.

After a brief pause (and an unsuccessful dispel magic from Kherim) the skeleton says:

"No? As you wish. Yet I know all, and for those who acknowledge my overlordship by kissing my foot, I will answer whatever query is put before me."

OOC: I'll go sailing over the weekend together with my son. I'll be back sunday night and will possibly have the chance to make another posting then. If not, then defnitely on monday. 'Til then folks!

Eilkhan snickers at the skeletons request. He can kiss my ass before I'll ever kiss decrepit foot.Then again I might get a disease fro it touching me!

OOC: Back again! The weather was gorgeous with light winds and we made a nice trip up to Denmark where we had a nightly barbecue on the beach. Now back to ol' Rahotep...


IC: "Fools are you then to deny a chance like the one I presented to you. What could have been yours.... But now you're doomed as you will quickly find out when you open that door. Come now, dare open it, thieves!"

With these words, the translucent image fades and leaves the portal behind as it was before.

"That guy was full of himself. We're here alive and he's just some illusion or whatever. So do we proceed as planned? By that I mean drilling a hole in the wall and so on and so forth?"

Kherim glares at the door, then, to Eilkhan, "I say carry on with your work, burglar."
