Ahi nods at the others and moves forward to the iron mummy, rod in primary hand, Holy Symbol in the other. He attempts to remove the lotus with his rod by carefully prying it out (OK, OK, I gotta try!) If that doesn't work he takes a good whack at the mummy, targetting the hand, with his Uas Rod of Smiting.

OOC: Here we go! anything? anything?

Eilkahn moves next to Ahi, short sword in her hand, though she doubted it would do mugh, it was at least something if the iron thing came to life. She mouthed Ok, go!

Surprisingly, it is possible for Ahi to remove the iron lotus flower from the mummy's hand. Looking at it, one can notice that the stem is longer and thicker than usual, possibly to provide a better grip on it. Nothing more happens, neither with the mummy nor with the iron flower.

Seeing Ahi's success, Ivid chimes in "Do you think we should remove the lotus flower from all of the mummies before we move on?"

Kherim Shah nods to Ivid's suggestion. "I agree, let us remove them all." He then begins working to open the other sarcophagi to do the same with their inhabitants.

OOC: Since this will take quite some time to accomplish, I suppose that Kherim and Ahi don't do it alone but will get some help from others. Everyone who is participating in cutting open the mummies' bandages and removing the lotus flowers, please make a percentile die roll.

Crap. Gotta middle of the road 52%. Probably bad I'm assuming.

Oh, Sir C, I added an OOC of my own in my post before yours. Figure we can do this while we work on the mummies. Didn't know you had posted.

To answer the OOCs:

1. Yes, the rod will only work against true golems.
2. Since your true seeing is still in effect (though it will wear off in a few minutes), you can see that both mummy and separated lotus flower are still magical. Neither of them are evil.

Ivid will assist. Elmo will continue watching the doors.
