OOC: Ahi's True Seeing ability shows nothing more about the secret doors except their outline. The flowers on the sarcophagi are painted, yes. Differences between the hands of the mummies can't be seen unless you cut away the bandages there.

IC: Eilkhan discovers no signs of traps at or around the secret door and quickly finds the opening mechanism: The door pivots around a central axis. Dust is stirred up as the thief moves it slowly, while the grinding noise that accompanies it indicates that the door hasn't been moved in ages. Behind lies a dark and narrow corridor (5' wide), that turns to the left after 15'. The floor is dust-covered and shows no traces, the walls and ceiling are bare of any decorations. Ahi's True seeing reveals nothing more in the corridor.

OOC: Map update follows as soon as I'm home from work.

Keeping a wary eye on the mummies Ahi is relieved to see them still immobile. "I'm going to ask you to please cut off the bandages on the left hand of at least one of the iron mummies, whether now or when we return from the secret door corridor," Ahi says to Kherim his paranoia still clicking. "Corridor looks clear from any invisible, astral, ehteral, illusions, or apparations,", Ahi lets the party know, as his talisman is still working.

Kherim nods to Ahi's request and walking to the mummy nearest the secret door which has been opened he makes a few expert slices with his curved sword to open the bandaging around the indicated hand.

Asterion will turn his attention to the corridor; Gaderon is more worried about the mummies so he will stay focused on them.

Cutting open the bandages uncovers an iron lotus flower that is clasped tightly in the mummy's hand. While you're looking at it, the secret door starts to close again.

Kherim looks up as he hears the grate of the hidden door signaling it's imminent closure. "Quick, someone spike that door!"

After glancing over to see what is happening with the mummies and the secret door, Ivid and Elmo maintain their vigil watching the other entrances to the room for unwanted company with their bows ready.

Eilkhan's dagger prevents the secret door from further closing. Nothing more happens.
