The problem is that I am just looking for an ordinary human settlement to place a one-shot in. () The adventure I want to run (Beauty Is But Skin Deep, from an old Imagine Magazine) gives detailed info on the respective buildings, but I'd like to set in a city on which I can provide some background. Rather than introducing the group to a new setting (Greyhawk would be easy), I'd prefer to set the game in the Wilderlands or Blackmoor, and simply port a city from the TSR Gazs. I had thought of using Threshold as the background, or maybe Brindinford from the WotC module A Speaker in Dreams. Now, the Threshold map from Gaz I is too undetailled to be of use... |
