After a careful examination of the door which seems to be safe, Eilkhan cautiously enters the entrance area of the chamber and its strange underwater blue radiance. She immediately notices an aura of danger that pervades this place. A feeling of malign hatred emanates from the large statue of Rahotep, while the nauseating smell of flowers and offal intensifies. The sighing and murmuring sounds are noticeable too to her, although she can't really determine from which direction they come. Wiping away the little beads of sweat from her brow that have suddenly appeared there, she quickly glances about without moving too far into this ominous place. More black-green pillars come into view, and between them she sees unmoving black figures in four places. They appear to be man-sized statues of black stone or basalt, each wearing something that looks like a golden mask from the distance. Her inquiring eye also notices something that looks like niches in the walls to either side of the Rahotep statue. There's something within each niche, but she can't tell what it is without moving closer. Rahotep's Tomb.JPG [ 81.56 KiB | Viewed 3390 times ] |

Sol will hold the spear in his left hand, with his sword drawn and ready in his right hand as he watches for danger. |

Ahi activates his Talisman of True Seeing to scan the room as well. OOC: I believe that's the second time this game day? |

The power of the talisman shows Ahi a nebulous emanation of some unknown type that hangs as a cloud everywhere, thickening around each of the black statues. He is also able to detect mixed good and evil from them. Magic radiates around the shrine and from the figure of Rahotep. OOC: The second time IIRC, yes. |

Kherim, stepping now into the shrine, reaches out with his faith and then nods, "There is much evil here, though good as well, be wary of the statues, I sense the conflict thickest about them. Touch nothing, I will seek the wisdom of Horus to see if the necromancer has left any unseen dangers for us." OOC: Casting Detect Traps |

The power of the talisman reveals two wooden coffers within niches to each side of the statue of Rahotep to Ahi. Aside from that, there's nothing more unveiled to him. Kherim's spell shows no traps within a radius of 30 feet. |
