OOC: Let's continue. Steve sent me a list of die rolls to use for Eilkhan when he's offline for a while. Since this seems to be the case at the moment, I'll use them now and - luckily for Eilkhan - the next roll on the list is a 19. So... IC: Breathing heavily, Eilkhan straightens up and turns to her comrades. She's a bit pale but assures you that she's okay and that she has hopefully avoided the curse's effect. Nothing else happens. The door at the bottom of the stairs remains open, beyond it seems to be a corridor. |

Thanks Sir C! P.S I only sent Sir C's 19's heheh..... j/k Eilkhan gathers her composure and continues her descent to the door at a very slow pace inspecting this and that meticulously so as not to have any trap surprises. At the last step she crouches down and inspects the floor before the door, then the walls and the door frame and of course the ceiling. ONce she is satisfied, she steps on the floor and stops at the door. Removing a gem from her bag, she activates it and now ait glows bright like a light. Holding it aloft she peers past the door. I keep forgetting I have a gem of seeing guys. Sorry! |

Eilkhan's magical gem sheds its light within a dark corridor that stretches ahead. It is 10 feet wide, with walls and ceiling being about 10 feet overhead, both plastered and painted. The walls are full of scenes and text relating to Rahotep's malign deeds, the evils of Set and his associates, the horrors of the Evil realms of the Duat, and so forth. The ceiling paintings are of leering devils and monsters, with similar words. A four-way intersection can be seen ahead. Thus far the thief has found no traps. Kherim moves along behind Eilkhan, towards the intersection, careful to give her ssome room as she seeks out traps before them. |

Sol drops back to his proper position in the groups order of march, holding the spear in his right hand, ready to fight from behind Kherim, if necessary. |

Ahi strains to see what that shadow was that opened (?) the door. "Can your gem show you anything more of what was down there?" After the answer, "yes let us take it slow," he counsels, "going deeper into the tomb, though necessary, worries me... especially after the encounter we just had. And there was only one of that undead creature." |

Ivid in the back, with the bow, as always. Elmo on Eikhan's side, if that is okay. |
