Eilkhan Tarmikos

Her mother, being too young and ashamed of having a child, gave birth and left the baby on the steps of an orphanage, fleeing into the night. Thus began Eilkhan's existence in our world. Most of the orphanage's children being boys, made her early life all the more miserable. This just strengthened her resolve to make something of herself and leave the accursed orphange, which didn't care whether she were adopted or not. Most would be "new" parents desired boys, so the cards were against her from the start.

Once she was thirteen, Eilkhan had acquired quite the talents for thieving. Thus she left the orphanage and joined the local thieves guild. She displayed her talents early on and grew in fame inside the guild. Some older and more experienced members held grudges, but soon found themselves admiring her for her temerity and talent. All admitted she was very gifted in her chosen field of work and so, Eilkhan soon merely recieved the top "cases" and nothing else.

Her most memorable caper began not long ago, where she convinced a gnome to create her a special armor, and "tricked" him into giving it to her, not spending a dime! She has since left the guild and joined a band of adventurers, who've made quite the name for themselves. More recently they've accepted the task of investigating the Tomb of Rahotep. Each of the members has picked up in their travels, evil items which are related to this Tomb. She's got some Ankh of which she 's been told protects her from some kind of elemental. They are now on their way to the Tomb.

Eilkhan appears with Long black hair, black eyes. Long flowing cloak,
beaten up boots, and a rather odd looking armor under the said cloak. Short sword at her hip and a backpack.

Ahi Seshem grew up an only child; a son of embalmers – a highly regarded profession. His family being very religious and he a serious-minded lad, most were not surprised to here that he took up a Cleric’s life. Indeed his close friends knew as long as they could remember that Ahi wanted to be a priest. He had a small group of friends, who knew him as extremely loyal and good-humored, though he mostly only showed his lighter side in private. But his loyalty was obvious at all times, he would defend his friends and family to others, even though he was perceived as introverted by those outside his group of friends. Any trouble that he got into as a boy was either in his helping to resolve problems that his friends got themselves into, or defending the honor of his friends or family. He was not particularly strong, but once he entered into the fray he was tenacious and would often try to out-think and out-maneuver opponents. Though arbitration was usually his first option, he was never afraid to resort to physically intervening as well to make his point.

His family’s connection with the sanctity of death, their usage of the “gifts of Neith” and protectiveness of those who have passed to Duat, coupled with Ahi’s strong sense of what’s fair led him to study with the priests of Neith. He was skilled in prayers and gaining and properly utilizing spells and quickly impressed his elders. Ahi would lead expeditions to eradicate tomb desecrators and convert tombs that had been warped to evil means, after having been part of such expeditions when a younger acolyte. His faith in Neith is absolute, and his reputation grew as someone who adventurers wanted on their team. Unafraid to lead at points where wisdom was needed, Ahi was just as comfortable supporting and strengthening others with his blessings and spells. He generally tries to protect others with his spells, and remains close to the front lines to heal and strengthen those joined in battle with adversaries. He views the group as he did his friends, and will trust them implicitly, and will not hesitate to offer his opinions and guidance when he feels they are needed; others quickly learn that they can trust him. Ahi’s hatred of desecrators is rivaled, if not surpassed, by his hatred for the undead. The creation of such atrocities is practically unfathomable to him, that someone might disturb a Khemitian’s time in Duat in any way. His tenacity, when defending and protecting those in his group, is magnified when facing the undead and particularly any creators of such – they are shown no quarter and no mercy. Ahi has not felt compelled to carry any of the evil items that they’ve found, though he certainly will if necessary. His main goal is to ensure the destruction of the evil one who dwells in this tomb, and to crush any of his minions that stand in the way. In the process he hopes the evil items will be destroyed, if not, though somewhat wearied of this quest, he will ensure their destruction as well.

Other than his Holy Symbol around his neck, as well as some other small pieces of jewelry, Ahi is wearing comfortable clothes and is encumbered only with the necessities for his tomb expeditions.

Gaderon is the only foreigner in the group - his features proclaim him to be from a far different land than Khemit. He is around six feet in height and lean rather than thin. He has dark brown hair and beard, trimmed short and even; his clothing is a mixture of items from a more northerly clime and the indigenous apparel. He does tend towards the voluminous; all the better to conceal items on his person and appear less threatening.

He has never spoken much about the land of his origin, but he has mentioned that he fled some kind of war or conflict in his homeland, without giving many clues as to where he is from or exactly why he left. It is apparent, in his more unguarded moments, that he regrets leaving; but he has been gone for quite a few years now and has made no move to return.

In his mannerisms he is by turns, greedy, cautious and ruthless; but he appears not to care for his companions at one moment and then risk much to save them the next. It is unclear what purposes his mind sets him to; it sometimes seems as if he is searching for a specific objective but then that all changes; however, he is always on the lookout for spells or items to increase his personal magical power. To this end he has taken The Bloodied Moon and is looking to further divine its properties...

His constant companion is an elf-blood named Asterion. It seems that Asterion has been Gaderon's...friend or helper since Gaderon arrived in Khemit; while close-mouthed in some ways as all elves are, on occasion it has been Asterion that has let little slips out - such as the fact that it was Asterion that taught Gaderon the speech of the people of Khemit in the first place.

Asterion appears to be much more multi-talented than anyone else, though of course he cannot match the prowess of the others in any of their chosen fields. He wears mail but has been seen casting spells of both arcane and divine by his party colleagues. He has taken the Cleaver of Set but at the moment chooses not to use it, preferring to rely on the mace in his hand and the spells at his command.

The white-haired man you have come to know simply as "Ivid" hails from a distant land back in the north.
From the little that he explains about his past, you've come to understand that he has travelled most parts of the world, perhaps even further than that.

The many scars and the professional gear he keeps with him suggest that he has been serving as a soldier for a long time, and from a few comment he made you can tell that he lived with the horsemen tribes for a few years, and apparently had a wife there. He has explained to you though that the scarred tattoo on his left arm once marked him as a slave of a man "Stonefist".

Ivid's age is difficult to be determined, though you think he might be around fourty. He is tall and slender, and has red eyes, which he explains as a heritage of his mother's race.

How Ivid came into posession of The Bloodied Moon, you do not know.

I had both - the Cleaver was with my henchman...I did that because I thought I was the last person to post their character and there were two left. I am happy for Ivid's character to have it, though.

Oops, forgot about the henchmen piece!

My Cleric is not against holding any of these items, as long as they all get destroyed. More of a CG than LG... leave that up to the Paladin! :)
