~Sir C, is there some kind of Spellcraft check in AD&D 1st? To know what happened, if we moved but the room moved with us, or if the spell failed at all. For example, we could be in anti-magic shell. Does that exist in AD&D? Woudl it be consistent with what happened?

No spellcraft checks, sorry. But anti-magic shells do exist in AD&D, but this is clearly not the case here because your magic items still function and Gaderon's spell worked. It just didn't teleport him.

One reason for what happened might be that room is probably shielded.
