Kherim accidentally cuts open the bandages on the right hand of one of the mummies and discovers that it holds an iron lotus flower too...

Seeing Kherim's mistake, Ivid says "Oh..." and proceeds to check the other hand on his mummy for a second iron lotus blossom, too...

"What should we do with these iron flowers?" he wonders outloud.

Kherim furrows his brow as he sees this new development. "Let us cast them out into the desert sands."

Each mummy has indeed two iron lotus flowers in its hands as you see when you completely cut open their bandages. After carefully removing all of them, you take them to the tomb entrance. Outside, night has fallen and it is pitch dark in the ravine. The desert wind has completely calmed down and an eerie silence lies in the air.

OOC: Do you want to throw the iron flowers over the edge of the cliff?

Kherim casts all the lotus flowers he has collected over the cliff and out into the desert sands.

Down they go.

"If only dispatching of the mummies were that easy," Ahi says to himself.

I definitely have a sneaking suspicion (can you tell) that these are some sort of undead, especially since they radiated magic even w/o the lotus flowers. We've at least removed some sort of power from them, hopefully some sort of triggering mechanism to animate them. I just don't know what else to do, I could use Speak w/Dead to clarify that they aren't dead-dead, but it wouldn't work on un-dead. I don't want to waste Spiritual Hammer, or the immobile Blade Barrier to "finish them" before they animate. Are we done? Should we move on to the Secret Passage now?
