OOC : sorry for the tardinesss of my post. Have this sh*t update for windows and my pc is so slow!

Eilkhan ponders a moment before shrugging. She removes a coin from her pouch and flips it in the air calling out "Heads ,,, left"...... "Tails ..... right".... the coin flips over and over before landing in her hand. She looks at everyone "Ok so we go right, people." And off she goes to the right until the end of the passage ears and eyes alert.

The paladin frowns towards the rogue as she flippantly falls back on a simple game of chance to decide their course. Hearing the cleric speak however he turns to the holy pilgrim, "He says we shall look left and right to find him yet fail. Perhaps there is a path forward. I know little of the deceptive ways of sorcerers but could there be a door hidden before us, perhaps even behind the visage of the necromancer himself?" Kherim Shah looks hard at the large portrait.

"Ah your wisdom is sound Holy Warrior," Ahi says with a nod to Kherim. "Shall we check for magical or secret entrances around the area straight ahead from the door, to include the offset picture of the evil one?" Ahi starts to search looking for any kooky differences in the wall - both how it sounds when knocked on and how it looks texture-wise, how the portrait might be affixed, any secret safe back there? :D and also if there are any more cartouche-buttons.

Ahi starts rapping at the wall with his staff and almost immediately notices a hollow sound behind the large painting. The whole wall with the painting on it seems to be only a thin layer of plaster instead of massive stone!

Meanwhile Eilkhan has reached the end of the passage to the right. While passing it, she notices some strange carvings within the circular recess on the left wall. It is made to resemble a doorway, with its whole back wall, approx. 5 feet deep into the rock. That wall is carved with various forms of malign spirit entities. The principal depictions are of demons, devils, and a half-dozen chimerical monsters common to the evil portions of the Duat. There are also figures of many-legged serpents and certain animal-human things - the forms of bad sphinxes and lamia.

At the end of the passage it is dark and musty-smelling, the fading daylight does not reach that far. I suppose that Eilkhan will take out her magical gem to cast a bit of light to see anything at all. With its help, she can see the end of the passage about 15 ft. ahead. To the right, a block of highly polished gray granite is set into the wall, about 7 feet high and 4 feet wide. It bears a chiseled cartouche on its central part, and below that, lines of hieroglyphic writing.

Ahead, another block of granite can be seen on the far wall. It is ebon-hued and of the same size as the gray one. There's a cartouche and writing on it too.

Outside, the first stars can be seen in the sky. It is now getting too dark to see without light sources, so you need to provide some light. Up to now, Elmo notices nothing unusual, although the floor of the ravine is already too deep in shadows to see anything at all down there.

When Eilkhan senses noone is following her, she moves back to see the rest of the party. "Ah" I should have looked closer! She waits while they open the secret passage. She removes a waterskin and takes a sip. Putting it back she tells the others what she saw in the other room.

Ivid continues covering the left side and Elmo watches the tomb entrance as the party decides how and where to proceed. Ivid thinks "This is why we have these clever fellows along..."

Kherim listens to Eilkhan as she relates what she has seen further down the corridor to the right. "Perhaps the slabs are themselves doors though what the carven recesses may lead one too I cannot fathom. Still, the necromancer concealed something beyond his portrait, it bears looking into I think. Let us heed his words below for what is a concealment but a lie and he speaks of lies cleverly hidden to lead the foolish to their death."

Giving the evil visage a final scowl he attempts to kick in the portrait with a heavy boot and grunts, "However it be, I have seen enough of this face."

At first surprised by the warriors quick decision and action to kick in the door, Ahi agrees with the sentiment. "If only this evil of this tomb could be razed as easily." And then Ahi backs up from the demolition going on and reviews his spells preparing for anything to come from out. I back up enough that nothing can attack me too quickly, but not so far that I am out of spell range, or out of range to protect Kherim in any way necessary.
