The Wayfarer's Inn

Your party gathers together in the low-ceilinged secret tunnel. How will you proceed? Will Eilkhan continue to lead the way, searching for traps?

Kherim keeps the rear, Ahi goes in the middle.

Eilkhan will lead the way as always.

One by one, you follow the secret tunnel. It seems to run beneath the great hall above, and its ceiling gets lower the further you come. The air here is extremely stale and dusty. After about 50 feet, you are forced to get down on your hands and knees to continue any further. After 80 feet the ceiling gets even lower, and a prone crawl is required now. Eilkhan, who is lightly equipped, can do so without removing backpack or armor, and notices that the last ten feet of the tunnel slopes downward slighty, with the passage ending before a wall of wood and plaster.

Kherim says worriedly
"Now would be a great time for a spell that made us smaller, Gaderon. Do you have anything like that? I'm not going in there, not naked that's for sure."

Gaderon answers "I have a polimorph spell in my book, but I didn't prepare it. Is that what we need here? I would need to take time to study it before I could cast it..."

"Not really sure if that is what we need, there might be something that makes us smaller. Polymorph would take some remove some abilities, but might allow us to spy."

Ahi notes.

"Or better, one of us.

Eilkhan stretches. "Listen. I am the one who has the least magical abilities. Let me take the polymorph spell and go forward. I really don't mind, to be honest. I have no special powers to speak of thus am the most expendable of the our group."

Kherim answers incensed at Eilkhan

"Don't say that, Eilkhan. No one is expendable in the group, and none of us is callous enough to think like that. It may be wise that you go ahead but that's because you're our scout. And in any case, I will go after you to protect you in case anything should happen."

Gaderon will move back from the group, find a quiet place and sit down to meditate to change his spells to replace all of his level 4 spells to polymorph other (3) and wizards eye (1). Also his level 8 spell to polymorph any object. He realizes that the wizards eye will allow him to see ahead and if it seems reasonable, he can teleport into whatever chamber is there, bringing someone else with him.
