Gaderon looks at the Hammer directly while speaking...
"I have one spell that would not be in my opinion a waste to claim the hammer, but I fear I do not think such a servant could bare the load as the most I have seen is that it can drag maybe 400 coins in a pouch. As for destroying the figurines, a crafty mage or cleric might have linked them to react to disturbances of each other as well, or the figures may detonate in a magical effect or such upon destruction... If we do destroy them I would advise finding a way for simultaneous destruction."
He looks back and forth between the items and nods as if decided...
"I can think of three options. One is that I can create a barrier to block these figurines from coming to get us, or shield us from their effects possibly and we could simply walk out with the hammer though it is an expensive spell to cast for such. Or I could wait inside as you close the door and then I begin to cast and grasp the hammer just as I teleport though I prefer to have multiple such spells available for our use as it has saved lives. Still thirdly by observation of action I believe when the robe crumbled to dust it did not affect the hammer or any trap. So perhaps more mundane efforts will prevail and I can save my magics for when needed. If we were to tie a rope to the hammer without touching it directly or moving it from it's position in any way with a noose type knot, the magic may not trigger until we attempted to yank it from the room... It is a risk still and I suggest until the one tying the rope is done we wait ready to close the door behind their hurried exit should it trigger such a trap to try and keep it mostly from us. I personally vote for my third option if there is one skilled with rope amongst us, but I accept if someone might think better of playing it safe..."
