Eilkhan pushes forward and does her usual job of checking.

The corridor turns around two corners and comes to a dead end about 40 feet ahead.

As Sol turns around to go back he asks "So, do we want to see where the archway portal takes us or
do we want to go back to the corridor that sloped up, which we passed this morning?"

Eilkhan comes back, reporting her findings. "Why not go through and see where it takes us?"

Kherim says "I personally would see the other corridor."

Sol says "I am leary of going though another portal after what happened last time, so I would prefer to go back to the other corredor, too."

Ahi nods in silent agreement. He looks at the others, waiting for reactions.

Seeing no other reactions from the party, Sol concludes that nobody else cares and says
"Ok, let's head back to that sloping corridor. Eilkhan, do you want to lead the way?"

"Sure thing." The rogue moves off up the other way, being careful as usual.

You retrace your steps along the narrow and winding passage through the labyrinth until your reach the upward sloping corridor. Here, Eilkhan starts searching for traps and quickly discovers an anomaly on the floor, approximately 5 feet into the corridor, that might be either a large pressure plate or a closed trapdoor, the exact size of which she isn't sure about.
