Round 1 The savages win the initiative.
As soon as Sol opens the door, the slave-warriors attack. With their wooden war clubs and tower shields gone, consumed by the fire, and only scraps remaining of their leather armor, they no only have their fists left as weapons. Their clumsiness makes it not too difficult for Sol to dodge most of the swings, but one hits him nonetheless for 7 points of damage.
Sol himself presses successfully forward, striking his opponent three times for a total of 25 points of damage, and making room for the others to follow. While he does,
Gaderon's magic missiles hit savage #1 for another 12 points of damage, which leaves the creature looking very ragged but still able to move and attack.
Eilkhan rejects the idea of shooting arrows in such close quarters - the danger of hitting one of her comrades is far too great.
Ahi's attempt to turn these creatures is unsuccessful and so he readies his rod and prepares to attack with it.
Elmo,
Ivid, and
Kherim are all unable to attack this time.
