The Wayfarer's Inn

Eilkhan snickers to herself. "THe name's EIlkhan, not burglar, thanks all the same. I don't call any of you spellcasters, ranger or healers do I?" she answers back even as she removes her tools from her pack and begins slowly drilling a hole in the wall.

At the moment that Eilkhan starts drilling, the whole plaster coating of the door suddenly collapses in a shower, creating a great cloud of blinding, choking white dust. At the same time, a strange flapping noise is heard, and then a dim figure flies through the air, making a mournful hooting as it flies towards the opening behind you.



Since the man-headed vulture seemingly doesn't want to attack you, we don't have to roll for initiative here. It is clear that the thing will fly out of the room within 1 round. Please declare what your characters are about to do - if they want to do anything at all that is.

Dang, out the room as in toward the front door?

"I wouldn't want this creature inflicted upon the outside world, especially at our doing!" Is there any reason for me NOT to flame strike the darn thing? Other than a waste of a spell possibly.

Kherim bellows an oath even as he stands his ground in the center of the chamber and as the creature flies past him, he swings his blade at the thing in an attempt to bring it down!

Asterion casts Magic Missile at the thing - Gaderon casts Burning Hands.

"Curses!" Eilkhan bellows as she tumbles out of the way, dirt all over her from the broken wall. She doesn't attempt to try anything against the flying monstrosity as it seems to be trying to get free.

A cloaked man in plate mail holding a large shield materializes in the middle of the room. Seeing the flying thing comming at him across the room he curses under his breath, draws his sword, and attempts to strike it with his sword! So much for introductions...

Looks like the thing has two warriors in the center of the room to get past
