The aging effect and the system shock is by the book. It has been omitted from that convolute that I sent you forwhatever reasons, but it's stated in the 1st edition DMG.

As to those curses that you received in the tomb, you can of course try and cast a remove curse on each recipient. But how will you determine if the curse has left? It can't be felt at all, and perhaps it is already gone....?

Finally about the casting costs: You can't compute the costs for the spells. The priests of Thoth tell you how much they charge for it, and that's it.

A remove curse can be cast easily enough on each one in the group. Still, you can't prove whether it was successful or not...

Yes, a system shock roll is involved with the casting of each restoration spell.

Since potions of healing or extra-healing cost you some money too, I would rather solve the restoration issue first.

It's ok. How do we proceed with that then?

So wait... I've been reading a topic on aging at dragonsfoot (and I've see you there, Sir C  ), and now I have a doubt.

So, Hasting causes aging and a system shock on the accelerated character, not on the caster, because his metabolism is highly affected. In a more drastic way the same happens with Ressurrection. So, what about Restoration, who gets the aging and the SS, the caster or the target?

Feel free to disregard me, by the way.

Gaderon has Remove Curse prepared and is willing to cast it on someone. Who would like to be his victim? Who else needs to have Remove Curse cast on them?

The things you need to take care of on Theben certainly need several days, so you can safely assume that each one of you can receive a remove curse spell during that time.

Ok. I don't think we need to roleplay that part. Just assume the spell has been cast, for whatever zero effect it might have.

So, how are we about the rest of the matters? What needs to be decided yet?

Sir C, when I asked how much the spells cost was just because we have values for two extreme solutions: the priest casts all the restorations (1 600k, iirc) or the priest casts only four, and Ahi does the rest (6?). This costs 200k if I am right.

What I wanted to know is if intermediate solutions are possible, like 5/5, 6/4. That's why I'd like to know what would be the costs in these circumstances. Ahi as 9% chance of failing each SS. That leads to a probability of 44% of failing at least one of them in a sequence of 6. So it is truly serious business. We need to know if we can afford passing more of the rist onto the priest and away from Ahi. Although Ahi would consider it being his duty to give his life for such a deed, the rest of the party might not like it.
