Gaderon is slowly but methodically picking out both salvageable equipment of his from what Asterion was carrying for him and retreves "The Cleaver of Set"... His hands are stained with gore and filth which he barely notices as he silently and sternly sets to work on what he must do. He cleans his hands and the item of his companions, burn leavings, and sets himself to placing the Item wrapped in a cloth from his meager stores to his side under his belt...

He then begins to look the scene over absently avoiding the dead body... Looking as the others begin to settle into the hallway with the smell of incense slight under the burning of flesh and foulness from their recent enemies, he shakes his head at the sight.

"If we had to move the lady Eilkhan? Say but even a short distance... What would be the ill of it? Is there any chance of say the room of idols from before this hall?"
He says this without looking at the others, back to examining the current surroundings.

Ahi sees Gaderon's consternation and says "if several of us move her together, as long as it is only a short distance, she should be fine." Then, as a Cleric of Neith, and once Eilkhan is safe, Ahi will look to see if there's anything he can do for the body. To make it safe, ensure the swift transit to the Duat, all that good stuff.

A proper burial ceremony for Asterion is impossible under the current circumstances, at least not within this evil tomb. But since you're within the confines of an ancient necropolis, there are probably empty and/or looted cave tombs nearby wherein Asterion's corpse can be laid to rest.

Carefully, you move Eilkhan over to the statue chamber. There are no complications, and you can finally start a longer resting period. Since you're not really tired yet, meditation or light sleep for the spellcasters for about 6-8 hours should be sufficient to regain all spells.

While the hours pass, those who stand guard near the secret door, can hear strange sounds coming from the chapel every now and then: Singing, humming, or the ringing of bells most of the time, but also strange buzzing and droning sounds. All of them not very loud and only barely noticeable.

Several hours go by without anything happening. Then you feel refreshed enough to pray again for spells. Gaderon's spell memorization alone needs another two hours until he's done, and only thereafter are you finally ready to proceed further.

OOC: In case anyone still misses hit points - 1 hp has regenerated over the time. What about your provisions and water supplies? When did Ahi last create food and water? I also would like to see Ahi's and Ivid's spells updated before we continue.

Ahi carefully regards Eilkhan's non-moving body and says, "May the power of Neith bring back your strength and heal you of all your wounds, inside and out."

Kherim kneels in prayer for much of the night before at last he allows his body actual rest.

Closing his spell book with a resoundent thump, Gaderon stands and walks to the passages opening...

"I do not wish to have kept us from progress... I can assure you now I am fully prepared, and mind on task... Let us procede and find the end of this place..."

Gaderon seems calm... Almost cold, while he waits for the others to come to a concensous on the next action of the group...

When he sees the others approaching as if they are ready to continue the mission, Sol will use the Pharaoh's spear, without entering the chanber, to push the double doors open wider so that the party will have a better view of Rahotep's shrine before any of us try to enter.

Waking, the paladin tightens the straps on his various pieces of armor, then kneeling, he speaks a silent prayer before rising and looking over the others.

"I too am ready, I have communed with Horus and am again ready to be a vessel for his will." Drawing his rune carved scimitar and hefting his shield, Kherim goes to move beside Sol.

Eilkhan sighs. I died again! Man I need better luck or protection, for the love of the gods! Opening her eyes, she looks around. "Thanks Ahi. And guys thanks for saving my behind once more. Let me have a look at that door witht he face on it and a bit beyond, ok?" She stands and stretches, getting the cobwebs out of her head. Advancing past the others she inspects the door again and listens inside. She is very meticulous about looking for any trap or trouble. Better to be safe than sorry. This is one mean tomb.

Once satisfied of no harm at the door, she will have a look inside and them decide if she advances or not. She relays anything she finds to the others, whether it be on the walls, floor or ceiling.
