Sol rounds the corner, stepping over the smoldering pile, not quite realizing that it was Elmo, and comming up behind the goulle thing he attacks it with his sword.

He gets three attacks this round: 10/9, 8/16, 26/9 [crummy rolls...]

Depending on if Eilkahn lives after the save or not she will actually activate her invisibility ring first. She is going to test her theory that undead monsters can see her invisibly. She will then move around so she can get behind the Gholle and backstab it.

"Everyone back the way we came! I will distract this creature and the construct so we might flee!"

Gaderon will set himself to the task of taking care of the Gholle. He begins casting magic missile and standing to prevent the creature from entering the hall any further. He will let any allies past but will try to prevent the advance of the construct and the Gholle. Any that want to battle the Gholle he will let come against the monster for if they can get through he could close the breach.

Ivid's eyes are empty as he rushes forward, the dagger in his bloody hand.

Swinging it like an axe, he will charge against the Gholle...

Ok, so Kherim will keep on attacking the statue, hoping that he can still resist the brunt of its attacks and fell it for once and for all.

Ahi, on the other hand, will try to move towards gaderon and heal him.

Attacks for Kherim: 26, 24, 10
Damage rolls: 16, 11, 13.

Round 5: The party wins initiative.

As is so often the case, the whole battle ends all over sudden. Attacked from two sides by Gaderon, Sol, Ivid, and Eilkhan, the gholle collapses to the ground, stabbed and smashed by various weapons, and ripped to pieces by magic missiles. Around the corner, two of Kherim's three attacks hit the statue for a total of 24 points of damage, breaking it in two large chunks of rock that fall to the ground with a loud rumble.

A quick glance over your shoulder shows that yet another fireball forms above the hands of the lion-headed Sekhmet statue.

OOC: Everyone gets 1800 XPs for this battle.

Sol moves to his right to get out of the line of the fireball, into the corridor that we have not explored yet (with an immediate left turn). He will gaze down that hallway while he casts healing spells on himself with his sword's power.

Eilkhan moves with Sol, not wanting to eat another fireball.

Ivid turns to Gaderon, murder in his eyes...

Ahi moves towards the corridor where dead Elmo lies. He tries to drag the remains away from the corner, in Sol's direction, as quickly as possible. If another fireball comes and there's no one in its path he reasons, it will hit the wall and burst from there. He examines the remains and dutifully gauges whether Neith can help him at all in this case.


OOC: Ahi has a Ressurrection spell memorized. Would it have any effect on Elmo or is the body too destroyed for that?

Kherim, inwardly satisfied for his defeat of the statue, advances just a bit more in the corridor (stepping to the other side of the fallen bronze / rock (?) ) and examines it in search of anything useful.
