Eilkhan shrugs and leads the way, checking for traps, hidden doors, secret doors etc on the way.

True to his word, Kherim follows almost on her heels, with enough space to give her room for safe trap checking without triggering them by accident.

Kherim might think twice to follow Eilkhan into the alcove as he sees what happens to her as she passes beneath the archway. The moment the thief crosses the threshold, she disappears. For a second, her armor, weapons, backpack, boots, and everything else that she had carried remains upright as if frozen in motion, and then collapses to the ground with a clatter. No trace of Eilkhan herself is left....

IC: From what Ahi could observe, Eilkhan has either been teleported somewhere without all her equipment, or she has been either disintegrated or met a similar gruesome fate. A burnt smell in the air would be no indication for this btw, as disintegration is a quick and very clean method of annihilation....

"Hmmm... there are two alternatives I can see here.", says Ahi. "Either Eilkhan has been disintegrated or very strictly teleported without any of her belongings. Now might be the time to find out if she had been hiding anything in... ahem... less accessible places."

Kherim frowns at the bad joke. Ahy excuses and continues

"Well... perhaps we should assume the best alternative?"

Sol says "Yes, let's hope for the best. Perhaps I should follow her to offer some protections where ever she ended up, while the rest of you can collect our gear and try to figure out where we ended up and try to meet us. Gaderon, do you have any spells that could tell us what happened to her?"

OOC: Any news about Gaderon? He is likely to be the best one to be able to deal with this, assuming he has a spell that could be used to find out what happened to Eilkhan.

Ok, Kherim tries to find some living thins, or former-living thing, wraps it around some cloth and throws it through the same portal. Then he tries to find a second specimen and does the same experiment in the other arch.

There are still enough of the small desert spiders alive. It's an easy task for Kherim to scoop up one or two on his sword blade and push them through the archway. The spiders disappear in both cases, the sword remains.
