Sooooo..... what happens?

Eilkhan asks the others ... "Well, what are we doing? Is it safe to go where it smells like Sulphur? I can go invisibly to scout it out first."

"I don't think it's safe. Plus that creature probably can see invisible things too. We should get ready first".

Gaderon puts on his boots of levitation while he asks "How should we prepare to face this thing?"

Sol pulls out the warhammer we found, while holding his longsword in his off hand.

Ivid recounts his arrows.

Why go in there, if we can plague it from here.

Sol and Gaderon both ask "How will we draw him in here? Do you have any ideas?"

Eilkahn grins. "I can lure him out."

Getting back up in the crawl-tunnel and out of the pit is an easy affair, thanks to Gaderon's boots, although it means once more that bulky armor and backpacks have to be removed and carried separately. Luckily, the creature on the throne - who or whatever it is - doesn't intervene, and you all get safely back out. You retreat to the Chamber of Sun Deities, the only place here in Rahotep's Tomb so far that is obviously untouched by the ubiquituous evil, strange as this may seem, and therefore well-suited for you to take a most needed rest.

Assuming that you use your remaining curative spells to heal Sol's wounds before (OOC: He's still missing 31 hps), you then lay down on the stone floor and huddle under your blankets, quickly falling asleep.

Several hours pass and you awaken refreshed. Nothing has happened during the rest period.

After your rest in the Chamber of Sun Deities, and after each and everyone of you has memorized his spells, and/or prayed to the Gods, Ahi brings forth a Heroes Feast of superb quality. You all eat and drink from the heavenly food and beverages until you feel refreshed and strengthened to take on the awaiting challenge and whatever others that may lie ahead of you this day.

Getting back to the archway chamber is no problem: The secret door in the pit wall is still open, and no one and nothing hinders you from using the magical boots again to your full advantage to get down into the lower chamber. A quick look through the archway reveals that nothing seems to have changed there as well, with the dark figure on the throne still being there, looking as if it didn't even have moved at all over the past eight hours.
