The Wayfarer's Inn

Since Eilkhan finds no traps on the floor of this chamber, Ahi enters the room too and examines the items on the altar blocks. On each altar stand three little figurines that depict the great statue standing behind them. There is also a brass oil lamp on each and a little stoppered crystal flask, filled to the brim with a dark brown liquid.

Kherim cannot detect an evil aura within this chamber, but then again he feels that his ability doesn't seem to work here at all.

Ivid takes up a stone and throws it into the middle of the room. - One way to detect traps, though maybe not the subtlest one...

Sol remains at the threshold with his bow ready, while he lets the others investigate this chamber.

Kherim furrows his brow in frustration as his sense for good and evil appears blocked within the chamber. Feeling it prudent to allow others a chance to use their own specialties in examining the ceremonial chamber, the paladin resigns himself to a spot in the center of the room, sword at the ready.

Nothing can be learned from the items on the altars merely by looking at them.

OOC: Waiting for Eilkhan to see what she does.

Eilkhan moves along to the first one on the left, carefully inspecting it and moving on until all of them are verified for traps and surprises. She then realys her findings to the others.

OOC: Sorry, I'm on holidays until Monday, so haven't been around much!

The very moment that Eilkhan starts to examine the altar dedicated to Ra and touches the small figurine of the deity (OOC: I suppose that a careful search for traps or anything else doesn't go without touching), she feels a sense of well-being, the urge to anoint the statuette with oil (from the flask standing next to it) and to then ask Ra for assistance in overcoming the threats of this place. A thought comes to her mind:

"If each one of us chooses a guardian and does everything alike together, there will be no stopping us!"

Will Eilkhan follow the urge to complete the ritual, and will she share her knowledge with her friends?

Eilkhan does share the knowledge with her friends. "Shall we do this or not? I really would like to I have a very strong urge to, in fact." She reaches into her pouch to accentuate her statement by removing a flask of oil and a cloth.

Kherim listens as Eilkhan relays her experience with the idol and then looks over the assembled statues taking in the gods represented.

"These are the gods and none amongst them represent evil, I believe we should offer the gods what is their due and initiate the ceremony." The paladin now approaches the hawk headed Herakhty and sheaving his blade, he drops to his knees before the statue in a posture of supplication.
